The results of the competition of children's drawings "Water - a priceless gift of nature", dedicated to world day water on March 22, organized by the Department of Subsoil Use and Ecology of the Tyumen Region.
In total, more than 1.5 thousand drawings drawn by children of three age categories participated in the competition.
According to the results of the competition, the jury summed up and determined 11 winners in three age categories, as well as 12 additional nominations and 7 special prizes from the partners of the competition.

In difficult environmental conditions that have led to a wasteful attitude to water and water resources, special meaning acquires the work of the kindergarten on the formation in children of a caring attitude to the world around them, especially to natural resources. After all, it is in the senior preschool age children have a very well developed cognitive activity.
Education of ecological culture is a long way to form the right ways of interacting with nature.
Understanding the elementary connections that exist in nature, a sense of empathy for everything, the perception of the beauty of nature are the components of ecological culture. Children need to instill the skills of an environmentally literate attitude in everyday life, in particular, to teach children to treat water carefully and economically. Draw their attention to the fact that even such a familiar object as water is fraught with a lot of unknown.
In the proposed project, in various activities, we explored our main wealth - water, its properties, spoke about the need for careful attitude to water.

Water is the basis of life on our planet. However, its pollution and irrational use leads to disastrous consequences for the people themselves. During the games and research, the participants tried to convey to the kids not only the physical properties of water, but also its value for humans, animals and plants. And to consolidate their knowledge, they made a variety of crafts, posters and homemade books on the topic “Save water!”.
Book - a drop "Where does water live?"
The idea arose from the question of the middle son Artemy (2.9 years old), where does water live? Conducted social a survey among our many children and as a result we got such a book - a drop. We needed:
- blue paper;
- Blue velvet paper for the cover;
- Brushes, paints, pencils, felt-tip pens, glue, scissors;
- Thread or tape for fixing.
Cut out the pages of the future book in the form of a drop of water. On each side we make a drawing answering the question where water lives. Then we make a hole in the upper part of the drop with a hole punch, write the text on the pictures and fasten it with a thread or tape.
Our text was:

In the well by the yard
In drops of rain
in my aquarium
And even underground.
Water is in us by you.
In animals and in the river.
And in space.
In the tree and in the flower.

The cover can be designed, but we decided to leave it just velvety blue, like the sea (this is Timofey's definition). The illustrations for the book were drawn by my niece Liza (11 years old).

The main idea was that our planet should not be without water.
Yana did everything herself when I told her about the task: she came up with it, and drew it, and signed it. I tried to suggest something, correct it, but she did not accept my ideas, so it turned out to be 100% children's creativity. They sat down to draw together with their older brother and quickly did everything.

Each page of the book shows the wrong behavior at first, and turning back part of the image, you can see a way to respect the water. All pages are visible in the photo. The last one is a question mark for other options.
The pages were stapled together and decorated with pretty duct tape. Now we are at the dacha without access to a printer, so I drew the pictures myself. But the children understood all the pictures, so the main goal is achieved. I did most of the work, the kids helped color the details.

This time my daughter and I created a kind of installation. The idea came spontaneously and we brought it to life very quickly.
The main idea: the loss of clean water - the main resource of our planet.
The hardest part: the faucet that comes out with a drop of water. I made it from cardboard, a drop is a piece of the package. While I was making a tap and attaching it to it with plasticine, my daughter was looking for and laying out earthly inhabitants, whose life depends on the presence of clean water.

The idea of the craft was inspired by the cartoon “The Tale of the White Ice,” where the penguin and the whale teach: “Cleanliness is the key to health!”, “Order is first of all!”. 
On cardboard with black and blue plasticine, Vladik made a dirty oil slick in the ocean. Then an ice floe made of foam plastic was glued to the spot. Made rubbish out of pieces of paper. The ice floe on our sides was also “contaminated” with black plasticine. Then they blinded it and with the help of a toothpick attached it to the ice floe. At the end of the two sticks, paper and tape built a poster over the penguin. Our craft is ready.

The idea arose from my mother in the footsteps of posters known to everyone in the USSR. But I wanted to be more original, and for the child to participate. Therefore, our droplets have become multilayered. Mom cut out 3 x 3 droplets of different sizes, even their material is slightly different (cardboard, colored paper and velvet paper). First, we folded the droplets in half, in the process we repeated the concept of more-less, then the daughter smeared the edge of the drop with glue and stuck it on. So we were born droplets.
Then my mother finished drawing the tap and came up with a valve on top, which, if desired, can be twisted. It is made of two strips of cardboard, secured with a pin (behind the needle is sealed with adhesive tape, for safety). And now our poster is ready, it has taken its place in the bathroom, on the closet door, so that the whole family does not forget to turn off the water.

Another expedition on the topic of water has ended, and in order to consolidate the knowledge gained, I decided to make applications with the girls. I decided to make the meaning of the pictures this: what is the water for? And what happens if there is no water?

Craft "Waterfall"
If you went out with the children for a picnic, after the feast, tell them that plant residues can be buried in the forest, they will rot. But with plastic bottles, this number will not work. Therefore, you need to take them with you to throw in the trash or do a wonderful job that requires:

- cardboard;
- scissors;
- water;
- cup;
- beads;
- colored paper;
- markers;
- gouache.
A sheet of blue cardboard will turn into water. At the bottom you need to glue the beads, and cut out a semblance of pebbles from multi-colored paper.
It remains to glue the "fish" on blue cardboard, draw air bubbles in the water.
Craft from natural material
To create it you will need:
- Walnut;
- cone;
- dry grass;
- tree branches;
- saw off from the trunk of a dry tree, which will become a stand;
- glue.
Use a bright marker along the edge of the stand to write “Protect the forest!”, And if the child is already familiar with the letter, let him do it himself.
Drawings on the theme "Ecology of nature"
Such creativity will also instill in children a love for their native land. If they were asked to bring drawings on the topic of nature ecology to a children's institution, the following can be advised.

If this drawing on the topic "Ecology of Nature" is intended for middle school students, the next one can be reproduced by children from elementary school and older kindergarten groups. Crafts from garbage
Children love kinder surprises, so they almost always have packaging from the gifts inside. Teach the children by showing what can be made from such waste material.
Wonderful funny chickens will be the result. To make them, kids will need:
- plastic containers from kinder eggs;
- glue;
- beads or pins;
- yellow and red cardboard;
- scissors.
You can pierce the top of the Kinder egg package with two pins. Then the beads remaining outside will become the chicken's eyes.
To make the shell, have the parents cut the top of each half of the package in a zigzag pattern. It will be more difficult for children to do this. Together with them, make a nest from straw or dry grass, or from thin twigs, fastening the elements with thread or glue.
You can make from garbage and here is such a picturesque bouquet. To create it, take:
- packages from under kinder eggs of different colors;

- sisal or green plastic bottles;

- Also cut the egg halves in a zigzag pattern. On the reverse side, use a heated nail to make a hole.
- Insert a straw into each, first insert the edge away to cut it into 2 parts. Then tie them in a knot, then this "stem" will be firmly fixed in the flower.
- Set them all up the same way. Connect the flowers, cover with sisal, tie with a ribbon.
- If there is no sisal, then cut off the top and bottom of the green plastic bottle and cut the rest in a spiral into a thin strip.

For him you will need:
- strong wire;
- disposable plates and glasses;
- plastic tray;
- rubber gloves;
- synthetic winterizer;
- buttons;
- multi-colored threads;
- cardboard;
- plastic bottle;
- glue.
- Make a human frame out of wire. String on each wire, which became arms and legs, cups, piercing their bottom.
- Glue 2 plates together, putting plastic hair between them first. Glue threads on the face in the form of a mouth, cheeks, eyelashes. And the pupils can be made from a plastic bottle.
- Two trays will become the back and front of the clown. Decorate his clothes with buttons, sequins, cardboard, which will turn into a jacket collar.
- Stuff the gloves with padding polyester, attach them in place. This is how the theme of the ecology of nature played. After all, this garbage will not harm her if you make such crafts for a summer residence or for a competition.
To make the first toy, you need to take an empty plastic bottle of a similar shape, for example, from a “toilet duck”, rinse it well, remove the label. Draw the windows and doors of this minibus with a felt-tip pen, cut them out with a knife and scissors.
So that the child does not get hurt on the sharp edges of the plastic, sand them first with large, then fine sandpaper.
Covers can be glued with super glue, making wheels or using wire axles. Make two punctures with an awl on one side and the same number on the other side of the bottom of the bottle. Insert one and the second wire into them, on the ends of which you need to glue along the cover, which will become the axes.
And to make a helicopter, you will need:
- 2 bottles from drinking yogurt;
- glue;
- 2 caps from a plastic bottle;
- straws from cocktails;
- 2 nails;
- scissors.
Make skids from two straws, attach them to strips of plastic cut from the second bottle.
With a hot thin nail with a wide head, make a hole in the lid and its attachment point, as well as at the ends of the straws. Match these parts to make the top propeller. In the tail section, make it from straws.
If you need to quickly make crafts about the ecology of nature, use plastic bottles. Tell your child that those who throw them away in the forest are damaging nature. After all, such a container will rot only after 200 years! It is better to make crafts out of it for the competition. It will take very little time and materials to make the next one, here are some:
- milk bottle;
- plasticine;
- 2 buttons;
- black and white cardboard;
- glue;
- pliers;
- wire wrapped in white.
Have your child smear black plasticine on the bottle cap to make a nose for this rat. From white cardboard, he will cut out ears, and from black - a mustache for her. Using plasticine, attach eyes to the muzzle.

Flowers from a plastic bottle will also help turn trash into a piece of decor or work for a competition. Petals are cut out of this container. To make them arch like that, you need to hold the blanks over the flame for a short time.
Crafts from textiles and other materials
They will also show children how to make things from junk things, from the remnants of fabric, leather.
To make such a panel, take:
- patches of fabric;
- pieces of suede;
- buttons;
- lacing;
- old lightning;
- unnecessary things;
- cardboard.

Like apples, cut out butterflies from dense fabric, they can also be attached to a tree with loops and buttons.
A doll made of threads will turn out to be openwork and airy. To create it, you will need:
- 2 balloons;

The results of the competition of children's drawings "Water - a priceless gift of nature", dedicated to World Water Day on March 22, organized by the Department of Subsoil Use and Ecology of the Tyumen Region, have been summed up.
In total, more than 1,700 drawings drawn by children of three age categories participated in the competition. The competition was attended by children living in the territory of the Tyumen region at the age of 3 to 17 years, in addition, children with disabilities participated in the competition.
Based on the results of the competition, the jury summed up the results and determined 9 winners in three age categories, as well as determined more than 20 additional nominations and special prizes from the partners of the competition.
