An alternative to not always safe purchased products for golden and uniform, there are homemade creams and oil formulations prepared by yourself. It just sounds a little strange, in fact everything has a logical explanation.

The compositions we have selected are balanced. Thanks to them, a film is formed on the surface of the back, legs, abdomen, hands, which absorbs harmless radiation and displays harmful radiation. It also promotes the formation of melanin and additionally cares for the legs, arms, decollete. We offer the top of the best exclusive recipes:

  1. Oil-based tanner. Take 50 milliliters of walnut oil, 20 milliliters of jojoba oil and the same amount of wheat oil. Another 5 milliliters of ylang-ylang oil, 20 milliliters of avocado, shea butter - 1 teaspoon with a top (this is a butter, so we first melt it in a water bath). All oils are mixed and used. This fast tanning oil should be applied 3 hours before sun exposure. The effect lasts for a day, if you often bathe or take a shower at this time, re-apply a small amount. We store the oil in a glass jar during the summer.
  2. The best after sun product. Mix sea buckthorn oil and apricot kernel extracts (3 drops of the first and 50 milliliters of the second). We hide in the house, take a shower and smear this caring and restoring balm.

These are oil formulations, they are best used on a wet body to avoid dehydration of the skin of the legs and arms. This is enough for the whole summer.

But there are other home compositions:

  1. To quickly tan before sunbathing, scrub with a coloring exfoliant - fine or medium coffee. Brew coffee with a small amount of hot milk (so that the milk only covers the powder) and let it brew for 10 minutes. We scrub a maximum of 2 times a week.
  2. Take 50 grams of coffee and fill it with 100 milliliters of nut butter (any). Leave for 10 days in a dark room and use the filtered liquid as a base for masks or body cream, or as an independent folk remedy for the care of legs, back, stomach and hands (instead of milk). The mixture nourishes and moisturizes, gives a golden hue, promotes a beautiful even tan, evens out color features (it is especially convenient to use on the legs after winter, when the skin of the legs is light, sometimes with a bluish undertone).
  3. Mix a simple body moisturizer in half with the previous composition and use daily.

The main thing to remember is that oils that protect against UV radiation primarily include wheat germ oils, shea butter and jojoba. And to those that will enhance the production of melanin - avocados, apricot kernels and walnuts (it even gives a bronze tint). It is even better to use a separate group of fats for after-sun care (that is, to relieve stress, exhaustion and overdrying) - sea buckthorn oil, almond and ylang-ylang. Sea buckthorn oil should be used very carefully, as it tends to stain strongly orange. Add 1 drop to 3 large tablespoons of base care oil.

Many cosmetologists advise using just such oil formulations. Some cook and sell them, while we prefer to save money and cook them ourselves. But never useoil of your choice. You can cause irritation and burns, dehydration and pigmentation if you use the wrong oil. Sunburn requires caution and deliberation.

Whatever you use for tanning, it is important to remember about safety:

  1. On the first hot days, start sunbathing without fanaticism: 15-25 minutes each. This will not only help protect yourself from sunburn, but will also contribute to a more even and deeper tan. You need to be especially careful near the sea.
  2. Do not stay outside all day in hot weather. And certainly not worth lying on the beach all day long.
  3. If you decide to use a purchased product for a beautiful tan, choose it according to your color type and skin type. It is better to choose even a product with a slightly higher SPF than indicated in the manufacturer's table.
  4. Be sure to protect your face with a separate special cream or lotion. Why do you need extra wrinkles?
  5. Use tanning creams not only on the beach near the sea, in the country or on the lake, but even while you are in the shade, and most importantly - do not forget to renew them, as indicated in the instructions. This is usually every 2 hours and every time after bathing. If you are not sunbathing near a body of water, apply the product after a maximum of 2 hours.


  1. Every day between 11 am and 4 pm the sun is at its most active. This means that the skin of the back, décolleté and even the legs will be irritated, and not tan at all. During this period, redness may appear, and after a few days you will begin to shed. So it is not necessary to lie under open sunlight for a long time during this period. If you still decide, use an even more powerful cream (take for a very pale dermis, SPF 35 and above).
  2. Be sure to cover your head with a hat. Firstly, a wide-brimmed spectacular hat, you yourself know how chic it looks, and it suits everyone. Secondly, this way you protect your face and neck. And to make them, then in tone is not difficult, you understand.
  3. Never fall asleep on the beach. This is fraught not only with the fact that the skin will burn, but also with the fact that you will not get to any planned event at all.
  4. Make sure that the medications used do not increase photosensitivity (this is indicated in the instructions).

  6. Drink plenty of fluids.
