At the same time, the deputy declared that the Teacher intended to mock the martyr-bearer king and his family. The Teacher's answer was not long in coming. He himself turned to the Prosecutor General's Office with a request to protect him from the "thinkings" of Poklonskaya, who was whipping up hysteria around his new painting.
Without waiting for action from the authorities, Poklonskaya ordered an examination of Matilda at her own expense. In the expert opinion she cited, it was said that the filmmakers deliberately "make a fool out of the emperor."
