And all seafood lovers will love squid! The recipe is quite simple, the main thing is to purchase the necessary products. The cooking process itself will not take more than half an hour. Tender fried mussels combined with properly boiled squid create an exquisite, harmonious taste.

If you are already tired of all the usual salads, try preparing a more exotic dish. A salad with squid and mussels will be just right!

Salad recipe with mussels and squid

The highlight of the salad is that we will fry the mussels in butter. Due to this, the taste becomes subtle and delicate. Even those who do not like the taste of mussels appreciated the taste of the salad.

To prepare we will need:

  • 150 grams of mussels;
  • 2-3 medium squids;
  • 2-3 eggs;
  • small onion;
  • a teaspoon of 5% vinegar (or dilute vinegar essence with water 1 to 16 - I use a syringe to dilute);
  • butter, mayonnaise, salt, sugar to taste;
  • green onions for serving.

Cut the onion into half rings and crush slightly, sprinkle with salt, sugar, pour over vinegar and leave to marinate.

Squids and mussels can be taken fresh or frozen. Saute the mussels in butter. When finished, you can place it on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

If the squid is not peeled, its skin can be removed much easier if it is washed under hot water or lightly scalded. For cooking, keep the cleaned squid in boiling water for no longer than 5 minutes, otherwise it will be tough. Then cut into strips.

We also cut boiled eggs into strips, mix all our preparations in a salad bowl, and season with mayonnaise. Serve the dish with green onions or other fresh herbs. Ours and mussels are ready.

If you don't like the taste of mussels, still try them in a salad. Frying in butter is the secret of this dish; the mussels acquire a simply amazing delicate taste.

List of ingredients:

  • 3 squid carcasses,
  • 100 g mussels,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 tbsp. butter,
  • 2 chicken eggs,
  • 0.5 tsp table vinegar 9%,
  • 0.5 tsp Sahara,
  • 3 pinches of salt,
  • 1.5 tbsp. mayonnaise,
  • green onions before serving.

Preparation

1. Remove the husks from the onion and cut into halves of rings. If you like a lot of onions in your salad, take a large vegetable; if you don’t like a lot, take smaller ones, it’s simple.

2. Crush the onion thoroughly with your hands, mix with sugar and vinegar, leave for 10-15 minutes. Before adding onions to the salad, do not forget to rinse them with running water and allow excess liquid to drain.

3. Use chilled squids; if they were frozen, defrost them naturally. Wash them thoroughly, remove the insides, if any.

4. Using a sharp knife, scrape the squid and remove the hard parts from the carcass and tail. Bring salted water to boil.

5. Melt the butter in a frying pan. Add cooled mussels. If they were previously frozen, defrost them at room temperature or leave them in the refrigerator overnight, then rinse and drain.

6. Fry the mussels for a short time over low heat, until golden brown - about 7-10 minutes, stirring. If the seafood turns out to be too greasy, you can put it on a napkin.

7. Cook the squids in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then cool them and cut them. It's best to cut into strips, but you can cut however you like.

Fortunately, you don’t have to be somewhere in sunny Italy or France on the Mediterranean coast to indulge in seafood. Although that would be ideal. But if a visit to Italy is still only in the future, then frozen seafood, which can be purchased at any large chain supermarket, is also quite suitable.

Any greens to taste.

Recipe for salad with squid and mussels:

Boil the eggs; cook for 10 minutes after boiling. To prevent the eggs from bursting during cooking, you can add a teaspoon of salt to the water.

After cooking, immediately place in cold water - then peeling them will be very easy.

Leave the seafood to defrost and then rinse well under running water.

Place seafood in boiling salted water. Cook for no more than 3-5 minutes! Otherwise they will become very hard and rubbery.

Drain the water; Allow the seafood to cool and then sprinkle with lemon juice.

Wash and cut the cucumbers. If necessary (if the peel is bitter or hard), first peel it with a knife.

Peel and cut the eggs, you can leave a couple of slices to decorate the finished salad.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

  • mussels – 200 g;

  • hard cheese – 150 g;

Preparation

Peel the onion and finely chop. In a frying pan with heated vegetable oil, fry the onion, add mussels, shrimp and cook for about 5 minutes, add salt and lemon juice to taste.
