Finally, it was decided to execute Him, moreover, the most terrible execution of that time, to which only the most dangerous criminals were subjected. This execution was the crucifixion of a man on a cross.
Jesus Christ was executed on Friday on Mount Golgotha. They laughed at him, but He, crucified on the cross, did not condemn anyone. Even in such a situation, He was humble and meek. At the moment of His death, the earth trembled, rocks fell down. This is the most mournful day of the year for Christians, they call it Good Friday.
His disciples took away the body of the Teacher and, wrapping it in a shroud, laid it in a cave, in a coffin carved from stone. But the servants of the cruel Jewish king rolled a stone to the doors of the cave and set guards. But here they miscalculated. Turned out to be God's Son boulders. Early in the morning on the first day after the Sabbath, Jesus was resurrected! The angel rolled away the stone, and the guards fled in fear.

People start preparing for Easter long before. In memory of the patience of Jesus, how he spent 40 days in the desert, where he ate nothing, struggled with various temptations, believing adults who want to prove their faith keep a strict Fast, that is, they eat a very limited circle products. But the time of Lent is not only abstinence from food. People think a lot, pray, try not to sin, to live in peace and harmony with loved ones and other people, not to have fun, to work.
