Ksyusha, 31, has been wearing glasses for 15 years:
- I have been wearing glasses since school and almost do not remember myself without them. And when I started to master makeup, I was faced with the fact that the lenses of glasses with myopia visually reduce the eyes. This was the most embarrassing discovery for me.
Usually I have two options for eye makeup: either I just paint my eyelashes, or I add eyeliner or shadows if some kind of event is planned. I am not at all afraid of bright shades in makeup. After various experiments, I realized that blue shadows are not my option at all. And beige and yellow (without red at their base) are what you need. Recently, I have mastered colored arrows so much that they stopped scaring not only my mother, but also my grandmother. And now I “paint” them to match the color of the frame or nail polish. At the same time I cheer myself up :).
Ksyusha also has myopia. And also - not very suitable frame for her face shape. To correct this, Yura suggested focusing on the color of the eyes and changing the shape of the eyebrows.
If there is a goal to hide skin imperfections, it is better to apply the foundation with a brush in a slightly larger amount than required, and immediately drive in the excess with your fingers. Ksyusha also came up with Better Skin #10.

To emphasize the color of the eyes, Yura used kajal Master Kajal in Oriental Gold along the edge of the lower lashes.
With the help of Brow Drama eyebrow mascara (Yulia wrote about her), Yura solved several problems at once. Visually lifted, painted over the voids, additionally fixed, finished drawing the upper growth line, expanded upwards and hid the “work” of the pencil.
To make the makeup textured and not flat, Yura applied Color Tattoo 24h Eternal Gold. Plus, the golden hues will "stretch" the blue of Ksyusha's eyes.
Blush Yura chose dark pink Affinitone #62 to avoid too many warm shades.
For lip makeup, gloss is enough. It refreshes and balances the cold blush. For Ksyusha, Yura chose Color Sensational Gloss #137.
Here's what happened:
With myopia, lenses optically reduce the eyes. Therefore, makeup should visually increase them.
- Avoid clear, graphic lines and arrows. They further reduce the eyes behind the lenses of the glasses.
- Shadows are better to choose light, pastel shades and a radiant texture. It is better to refuse mother-of-pearl and sparkling. And be sure to shade well!
- Do not spare mascara - thickly paint both upper and lower eyelashes. If you decide to do without shadows, make sure that the eyelashes are carefully dyed from root to tip.
With farsightedness, glasses, on the contrary, visually enlarge the eyes. Makeup will appear brighter and more noticeable than it really is. And all the flaws will become visible at a glance. Therefore, the more natural makeup - the better.
- It is better to use brown mascara.
- Magnifying lenses create the effect of close-set eyes. To avoid this, apply shadows light shades to the inner corners of the eyes.
- If you decide on an eyeliner or a pencil, the line should be perfectly even. Use a kajal - it is easy to draw a clear line with it.

- If you use lipstick, then be guided by the classical laws of color. It is better to choose contrasting shades that emphasize each other. For example, raspberry lipstick goes well with a bright green frame. And if you wear a bright red frame, the shade of lipstick should be a little warmer and more transparent.
