People with telekinesis. Telekinesis is a proven fact. Austrians Willy and Rudi Schneider

Telekinesis is an innate or acquired ability to change the spatial position, shape and state of material objects in the surrounding world, all this is done only by the power of thought.

People who have this gift can bend elements of cutlery, make matches fly, attract iron mugs, and so on. There are many people in history who have shown similar properties, among whom are our fellow countrymen, for example Ninel Kulagina. Both foreign and domestic “magnetic” people were often accused of charlatanism, although it remains a generally known fact that their talent was studied in scientific institutions by outstanding scientists.

However, science still refuses to officially recognize the existence of this telekinesis. Due to the popularity of this phenomenon, stories about telekinetics periodically appear in mystical TV series, science fiction books, and are widely used by computer game producers.

Exercises for Beginners

Despite all the existing extensive information about the prevalence of this phenomenon among the inhabitants of the planet, learning telekinesis, like telepathy, is far from an easy task, as it requires enormous energy expenditure and knowledge of the resources of one’s own essence. In addition, many should be puzzled by the question: “Why do I need this?” The answer seems as simple as possible: “To move things around as you see fit.”

Why move everything that catches your eye if you can do it with your hands? Moreover, moving bulky objects, such as a cabinet or a car, requires incredible, if not direct physical-mechanical, then other hidden efforts, which leads to complete apathy and fatigue for several days.

That is why every person who is going to learn telekinesis must seriously think about what he wants to achieve and how it will affect the lives of other people. After all, simply catching a moment of fame on local television, and then hiding from internal authorities for committing a crime using forbidden techniques, will not please anyone.

But, if you are still eager, you can familiarize yourself with the basic exercises that will allow you to understand what telekinesis is.

  • First, do your workout in the early morning, when the body is completely rested and in a somewhat relaxed state.
  • Secondly, spend no more than 20 minutes studying in the initial period, otherwise you will deplete your energy reserves needed to get through the whole day and earn headaches.
  • Third, start small. Don’t think that you will succeed immediately and easily, remember the saying about Moscow, and take care of your health so that your body is in good shape.

You can try moving a match placed in

For example, one Western researcher learned to influence the slipper ciliates observed under a microscope with his thoughts. Through the effort of thought, one can also influence the growth of plants, the development of pathogenic fungi, and the process of exchange. substances in a living body, wound treatment...

All this sounds so incredible that it would be easier to consider conversations about telekinesis as fairy tales, but there are living human phenomena who demonstrate unique abilities - “with the power of thought” they can move large objects (N.S. Kulagina), suspend them in the air and hold them on weight for a long time (E.D. Shevchik). And such precedents are not uncommon.

Scientists have long been interested in the question of what nature such phenomena: the result of the actions of spirits or the power of the human mind? In 1854, the Comte de Rasparin reported successful experiments with table movement carried out in Switzerland, during which there were definitely several Human, sitting around the table, moved it with an effort of will. He believed that this phenomenon was caused by some invisible force produced by the participants in the experiment themselves.

Psychokinesis can occur with or without conscious effort. In 1912-1914. Everard Fielding, member of the Society for Certainly Psychical Research phenomena, studied the ability of the Polish medium Stanislava Tomczuk. In maybe a state hypnosis(see source) she controlled her abilities, making spoons and matchboxes move without touching them.

The Austrians Willy and Rudi Schneider, who became world famous, could make a handkerchief rise from the floor, and it would change shape as if there was a hand inside it, with the knuckles clearly visible. Objects moved around the room during their sessions, although no one touched them. In the presence of both brothers, the German writer Thomas Mann watched as a bell on the floor rang vigorously of its own accord. Many scientists began to come to Braunau to see for themselves their abilities. Among them was Albert Freiherr, a doctor and parapsychologist, who from the end of 1921 several years, conducted a total of 124 experiments to study the abilities of the brothers.

Another person demonstrating telekinesis is B.V. Ermolaev, a specialist in the field of cinema. He picked up various items(lighters, cigarettes, cigarette boxes, glasses, etc.), held these objects in his hands, and then let them go. Objects hovered in the air at a distance of up to 5 cm from the hands. There are photographs that show hanging a cigarette, a box of matches. But the most curious thing is that he could hang matches that had fallen out of the box in the air.

The so-called “Geller effect” became known to scientists who observed Uri Geller, who was born in Tel Aviv in 1946. Already at the age of four, his ability to bend metal spoons with the force of his mind was evident. In 1972, an American researcher decidedly paranormal phenomena Andrija Puharik brought it to the attention of physicists Russell Targ and Harold Puthoff of the Stanford Research Institute in California. They were particularly impressed by Geller's ability to clairvoyance. They said that he could read minds, bend keys and other metal objects with a simple touch or even a glance, start and stop mechanisms.

British psychologist Kenneth Batcheldor, after 20 years of studying the phenomena of telekinesis, published several reports in 1966 concluding that psychokinesis is possible. However, the question of how psychokinetic effects are achieved with the help of the mind is still certainly waiting to be answered. solutions .

In recent years, it has been the most actively telekinesis is being studied by employees of Princeton University (USA) under the guidance of Dr. Robert Jahn, who heads the laboratory of anomalous research. They were able to prove: a person with his psyche can influence perhaps material objects. According to a strictly verified methodology, thousands of experiments were carried out there, in which hundreds of people participated - men and women of different ages and professions. One of the groups was faced with the task of mentally influencing the oscillation of a pendulum placed under a transparent plastic cap. Five subjects managed to do this at any time of the day at a considerable distance, the rest - only in separate areas. cases .

Scientists have found that with the power of the mind you can influence a variety of devices and liquid media. These are ultra-precise chronometers, lasers, electrical circuits, generators of electromagnetic radiation, emulsions, colloidal solutions, water... The fact that thought can influence physical bodies is no longer a secret to anyone. If scientists accept this fact, it could change the entire scientific picture of the world.

  • Telekinesis (from tele... and Greek kinesis movement), the movement by a person of physical objects without muscular effort. The hypothetical energy that allows this to be done is given the name psi-energy or bioenergy. It is believed that a psi operator can arouse telekinetic abilities in other people - those who are close to him.

Telekinesis in parapsychology is considered as the ability of non-contact influence on inanimate objects. Some researchers believe that the formation of powerful physical fields is the root cause of telekinesis. It is noted that when attempting telekinesis, strong pulsed fields of electromagnetic origin and acoustic signals lasting 0.1-0.01 s are generated. Other researchers believe that telekinesis is a consequence of exclusively mental effort (psychokinetic); in this case, thought is considered as an immaterial substance that influences immaterial entities.

It has been noticed that telekinesis, like other parapsychological abilities, sometimes appears as a result of injuries, illnesses, stress, electric shocks... This confirms the idea of the hidden reserves of the human body, especially the brain. Many people assume that each of us is endowed with similar talents, we just need to create the conditions for their manifestation. It is no coincidence that entire sets of special exercises have been invented to develop these abilities.

In recent years, telekinesis has been studied most diligently by employees of Princeton University (USA) under the leadership of Dr. Robert Jahn, who heads the laboratory of anomalous research. They were able to prove: a person can influence material objects with his psyche. Using a strictly verified methodology, thousands of experiments were carried out here, in which hundreds of people participated - men and women of different ages and professions. One of the groups was faced with the task of mentally influencing the oscillation of a pendulum placed under a transparent plastic cap. Five operators managed to do this at any time of the day at a considerable distance, the rest - only in isolated cases.

Electronic random number generators were also used in the experiments. It was necessary to influence the readings of these instruments with the power of thought, to guess the numbers. The result exceeded all expectations: the law of chance was violated - the intended numbers appeared more often than others! In other words, the will of man made certain changes. Interestingly, in cases where couples (spouses, friends, lovers) who knew each other well participated in the experiments, the effectiveness was four times higher than in experiments with singles. It was also noticed: male participants in these experiments for some reason turned out to be more successful than women.

All this allowed Robert Jahn, in an interview with the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph, to say: “We believe that we have found irrefutable evidence of the reality of this mysterious phenomenon. Psychokinetic effects manifested themselves to one degree or another in all subjects. Therefore, we think that we are talking about qualities inherent in almost all people."
In a word, thought is capable of influencing physical bodies. And this fact, together with others, may well force a change in the scientific picture of the world. The same Jan developed the concept of quantum mechanical interaction of consciousness with physical systems. Other scientists have found that the power of the mind can influence a variety of devices and liquid media. These are ultra-precise chronometers, lasers, electrical circuits, generators of electromagnetic radiation, emulsions, colloidal solutions, water...

Not all people have telekinetic capabilities, but if a person is on the right path of development, he will be able to achieve success. In order to master this property, you need to go a long way, which covers almost all magical sections.

Harmony within a person plays a decisive role in the development of abilities. Only through harmony can results be achieved. Telekinesis will be possible only when there is enough energy (prana) in the body. Without harmony, a person simply wastes his energy on the negative aspects of existence. Such as anger, cowardice, anxiety, rudeness, envy, power, selfishness, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to learn to live in harmony with the world around us, which is the main task of everyone. If you want to develop telekinetic abilities, you must first of all perfectly master exercises to enhance and accumulate bioenergy and master the technique of self-hypnosis. Only then can one begin the targeted, systematic development of telekinetic abilities.

    Example of telekinesis

One of the most amazing phenomena was the Russian woman Ninel Kulagina. For a long time, only a select few knew about her; some venerable academicians testified to her extraordinary gift. But they kept quiet about this, because it was believed that since there is no official laboratory studying paraphysical phenomena, there is no need to talk about it yet. But in 1988, when during the period of perestroika the Soviet media had the opportunity to cover “anomalous” topics, a multimillion-dollar television audience was able to become convinced that telekinesis is a reality.

Kulagina took the wedding ring off her finger, put it on the coffee table, scattered matches nearby, then moved her palm over these objects without touching them. The ring started moving and, together with the matches, moved to the edge of the table... Scientists could not explain this amazing effect and invited him to their laboratories for scientific experiments.

The professors discovered that Kulagina had other unique abilities. In particular, to determine colors and read printed texts with any open part of the body, change the chemical composition of liquids, increase the electrical conductivity of air, relieve pain during inflammatory processes, treat vascular diseases, heal wounds... Once she was able to move a glass decanter weighing 380 grams. It is curious that during telekinesis experiments, some “thin shiny dotted lines”, similar to beads, sometimes appeared between Kulagina’s fingers and the objects that she non-contactly set in motion through the efforts of her body. Kulagina’s unique set of abilities, confirmed in scientific laboratories, was called the “K” phenomenon. It still hasn't been completely solved...

    Exercises

    1. To perform the exercise, you need to prepare a very light spiral-shaped paper cone and hang it on a nylon thread.

Perform exercises to strengthen and accumulate bioenergy.

Stand in the priest’s pose and, mentally feeling the energy in the solar plexus, send it as you exhale to the fingertips of your right hand, then to your left hand. Feel the flow of energy between the palms of your hands, turned towards each other at a distance of 30 cm, while you feel the density of the air between your hands and a tingling sensation in your palms. As you exhale, send energy again to the solar plexus. Perform this operation 15-20 times. After that, having sent energy to the fingertips for the last time, with both hands, easily, without physical tension in the area of the hands, turn the spiral-shaped paper cone in any direction.

    2. Having mastered the exercise and rested for 5-6 minutes, do a full energy recharge and proceed to a more complex task - influencing the radiometer. Having placed the device on the table, try to rotate its petals by acting on the impeller (petals) of the radiometer. After two to three months of successful “work” with the radiometer, you can begin to influence the compass needle. Classes for training telekinetic abilities must be carried out regularly, but before the first signs of fatigue.

You should not allow excess energy consumption in the body; to do this, it is necessary to recharge the body with energy after each lesson. Those who have perfectly mastered the exercises for turning on the chakras can easily master the technique of deforming metal objects (bending spoons, forks, etc.). But here you need to know that people with heart disease are prohibited from doing this. Many children exhibit spontaneous telekinetic abilities. In this case, parents should treat their children’s “exercises” very carefully, avoiding overtraining, and with them, undesirable consequences.

    3. Three chakras are involved in the mechanism of influencing metal objects: Anahata, Muladhara, Ajna. Take the object with your left hand, and with your right hand, lightly stroke it in the thinnest place with the index finger and thumb of your right hand. First, visualize the Anahata chakra, concentrate your attention on it and achieve a vivid vision of its color, then simultaneously send energy in a spiral from the base of the Anahata chakra cone to the fingertips of your left and right hands. The message of energy should be soft. At the same time, give yourself the attitude: “My energy affects the molecules and atoms of matter, I can change their structure.” This thought must be constantly present during the experiment. Then you begin to visualize the Muladhara chakra, sending energy (with a clear visualization of color) from the top of the chakra cone along the spine in a spiral to the top of the Anahata chakra cone, then in a spiral to the base of the Anahata chakra cone and then send the energy to the right hand. After this, you need to visualize the Ajna chakra, sending energy down the spine to the Anahata chakra in a counterclockwise spiral and send energy in the same spiral to the fingertips of the left hand. Send messages several times according to the pattern until the object is deformed.

As observations show, when energy is sent according to this scheme, the object bends downward. If we change the second part of the diagram, send energy from the Muladhara chakra counterclockwise to the left hand, and from the Ajna chakra clockwise to the right hand, the object bends upward.

Conversation about telekinesis with academician Yu. B. Kobzarev.

    - You, Yuri Borisovich, for many years - from the point of view of a physicist! - have been studying the amazing phenomena of the human psyche, conducting, in particular, experiments with a housewife from Leningrad, the famous psychic N.S. Kulagina. What can you tell us about these experiments and about telekinesis as a parapsychological phenomenon?

    — I don’t have enough experimental data to talk about various forms of telekinesis. I am not going to analyze messages that have already been published in the press, this will lead very far. With your permission, I’ll tell you about my acquaintance with Kulagina. About ten years ago, Ninel Sergeevna and her husband Viktor Vasilyevich were brought to my apartment by L. A. Druzhkin, head of the physics section of the Moscow Society of Natural Scientists and my former graduate student. It was he who introduced me to Kulagina’s amazing ability to move light objects without touching them.

First, Ninel Sergeevna took an ordinary compass and moved her hands over it for some time. Finally his needle began to swing. It was, in her words, a “warm-up.” Then I placed a metal pen cap on a table covered with oilcloth. Kulagina, manipulating her hands over him, also set him in motion. The cap, following her palms, began to approach the edge of the table with increasing speed.

“Did you ever get the feeling that this was a trick?”

    - No. The experiment, repeated several times, was observed by my wife, as well as my colleague at the Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Professor B. Z. Katselenbaum. It was obvious that in order for the object to begin to move, Kulagina had to exert a lot of effort. But neither the appearance of Nineli Sergeevna, nor the environment in which the experiment took place gave rise to the assumption that I was being shown a trick. On the contrary, I wanted to repeat the experiment again using an electrometer, since there was an assumption that the observed movement was the result of the emergence of an electrostatic field on the eve of the repeated experiment. I calculated how much force needed to be applied to the cap in order to overcome the friction on the oilcloth and move it from its place. The magnitude of the electrostatic field voltage capable of causing such a mechanical force was also found. Both me and Professor B. Z. Katselenbaum - we did the calculations somewhat differently - we got very large values - hundreds of kilovolts. This did not bother us very much, because it is exactly the same voltages that arise when a person pulls off an electrified nylon shirt that almost flies away from him, or when, touching a refrigerator (or a person) with his hand, he feels a spark discharge sharp, like a needle prick.

For the next arrival of the Kulagins, I prepared an electrostatic voltmeter, connected it to the cap using a thin long wire, which, in turn, hung on a thread from the chandelier. I installed an electrometer on the corner of the table, and a cap on the opposite. I checked the circuit - I brought a comb, previously rubbed on a woolen cloth, to the cap, the electrometer needle deviated... Before talking about the experiment itself, I will note a detail that is essential for further discussion. The wire, screwed to the cap, ran vertically upward, which excluded the possibility of throwing, say, a thread with a loop over it, by pulling which one could move the object around the table unnoticed.

And then something happened that literally shocked everyone present. Kulagina, without touching the cap, made it move across the table, and the electrometer needle did not even flinch. It turns out that this amazing phenomenon cannot be explained by simple electrostatic interaction?!

It was decided to arrange a demonstration of the experiment to a large group of researchers in order to arouse interest in the phenomenon and organize its comprehensive study. I called Academician Ya-B. Zeldovich and shared with him my thoughts about the strange phenomenon. “The impression is,” I said, “that there is only one way for explanation - to admit that by force of will one can influence the metric of space-time...” Such a monstrous thought was, of course, rejected by Zeldovich. He bluntly stated that Kulagina, of course, uses strings, and I simply did not notice all her manipulations.

The next series of experiments took place in the apartment of my great friend, Academician I.K. Kikoin (his apartment was chosen because it had a large hall that could accommodate many people). Among those present were also academicians V.A. Trapeznikov and A.N. Tikhonov. The meeting was joined by the Deputy Director of the IRE AS USSR, Professor Yu. V. Gulyaev (now Academician, Director of the IRE AS USSR). Here Kulagina was moving a small wine glass that stood on a large desk covered with newspaper. The newspaper was placed on glass, under which lay family photographs (which made it difficult for Kulagina to concentrate). The participants in the experiment, who carefully observed what was happening, did not find any clues.

In addition to telekinesis, Ninel Sergeevna demonstrated to those interested the ability to cause heating of the skin at the point of contact with her hand. However, heating occurred even without any contact. This phenomenon interested MSU professor Braginsky. He endured the pain longer than others. As a result, the scab at the burn site did not go away for several days.

    — Yuri Borisovich, so how does all this happen? What is the physics of contactless movement of objects?

To find out this, subsequent experiments were carried out. First of all, we decided to look for something that we could “grab onto...” There is no electricity, but maybe there is a sound that is not heard, or some vibrations arise that cause objects to move.? After all, there is, say, the phenomenon of sound wind: a light object lying on a table can be set in motion if you bring a working loudspeaker closer to it. A small paper windmill begins to spin when an oscillating piezoelectric plate is brought near it.

And so, while on official business in Leningrad, together with Yu. V. Gulyaev they conducted a special experiment. Shortly before this, tiny microphones were specially manufactured in the IRE laboratory; one is capacitor, the other is ceramic. They were built into matchboxes and connected to an amplifier and a cathode ray oscilloscope. We took all these devices with us.

In the evening we got together with the Kulagins in my hotel room, and Viktor Vasilyevich showed an amateur film he had shot a long time ago. I was amazed by the footage where Kulagina moves an object without bringing her hands closer to it, only with the help of head movements.

We started our experiments with a condenser microphone, as it is more sensitive. As soon as Kulagina brought her hands closer to the matchbox and tensed, pulses appeared on the oscilloscope screen... and immediately everything disappeared. The microphone has lost sensitivity. Having disassembled it, we saw that it was “broken” - its membrane was welded to the base. The microphone was soon fixed, but again it was a failure: the sound impulses were so strong that the condenser microphone could not withstand them. The ceramic microphone worked flawlessly. While the matchbox was moving, it gave out random impulses with very steep fronts. Kulagina's hands emitted ultrasound! This was a great discovery that literally shook our imagination.

For greater reliability, the experiments were repeated during the next visit of the Kulagins to Moscow. In this case, the pulses were recorded on magnetic film using a broadband tape recorder at my disposal (bandwidth up to 200 kHz). They were then read using a special setup on a cathode ray oscilloscope and photographed. Thus, it was possible to estimate the duration of steep pulse fronts - about 30 microseconds. But what the physical nature of these impulses was was unclear.

    — Are these acoustic pulses capable of being registered only by very sensitive instruments?

“On this occasion, Gulyaev came up with a simple thought: listen to these impulses. Kulagina brought her hand close to the experimental physicist’s ear, tensed, and random clicks began to be heard. The more she tensed, the more often they sounded. Kulagina, who did not expect this from herself, became worried: was she harming the experimenter?.. He, calming her down, also persuaded her: “Turn up the heat.” No one was harmed during these experiments.

Subsequently, these experiments with the impulses he discovered were rechecked by Yu. V. Gulyaev in every possible way. Still, it is extremely difficult to believe in a person’s ability to emit acoustic impulses.

Also a big surprise for us was the glow of Kulagina’s palms, which occurs under volitional tension. This time the demonstration took place (on her next visit to Moscow) at the apartment of Yu. V. Gulyaev, three in a row: the owner of the apartment, Academician V. A. Kotelnikov and me. Subsequently, this radiation was also detected by instruments. A series of experiments were carried out, but the experiment carried out in my apartment was decisive.

Yu. V. Gulyaev’s employees installed a photomultiplier tube (PMT) and a digital indicator in my office that recorded the effect on the PMT. In the complete absence of light, the last sign of the number on the indicator changed randomly, registering a dark background.

Kulagina put her palm to the PMT lens, and I fixed it on top with my hand. Both the hands and the photomultiplier were tightly wrapped in light-proof material. The room was hot, Ninel Sergeevna’s palm was covered with perspiration. For a long time we peered unsuccessfully at the flickering last digit of the device - all other digits were “zeroed”.

Ninel Sergeevna was worried. After all, similar experiments have been successful before. Why doesn’t the device show anything now? I felt her tense up more and more. Finally the number appeared and began to grow. It grew to 9, jumped to the next digit... Before we had time to come to our senses, numbers of the third digit were running on the indicator. A thousandfold excess of dark current!

I feel that Kulagina is exhausted, but she cannot stop, although I demand that she stop straining. Finally, I can’t stand it and forcefully take her hand away from the photomultiplier window. She immediately runs away and feels bad. Attack of nausea and vomiting. A similar thing happened to her after Kikoin’s demonstration of telekinesis, but then only his wife knew about it, and she whispered to us that Ninel Sergeevna was feeling bad and she should rest a little.

    — Why was it so difficult for Kulagina to cause her hands to glow under conditions of strict control? During the first demonstration that you mentioned, these difficulties were not noted?

    — Both during the generation of clicks and during the generation of glow in the first experiments everything went smoothly. But in the control conditions, the glow was apparently difficult due to the sweat that abundantly covered the surface of the skin.

    — Giving testimony at the trial and later, speaking on television in the “Vzglyad” program, you talked about streams of particles, corpuscles flying out of Kulagina’s palms: How was this established?

    — To find out the spectral composition of its radiation, in experiments with photomultipliers, we began to cover the device window with light filters.

It turned out that when exposed to Kulagina, glass plates become cloudy and a coating forms on their surface. In experiments on non-contact heating of the skin and with appropriate lighting, we noticed that sparkles were formed on the heated surface. The skin seems to be covered with tiny crystals. Moreover, Yu. V. Gulyaev told me that when he asked Kulagina to save him from an attack of lumbar radiculitis, she warmed his lower back until it turned red. After which Gulyaev’s wife scraped off almost half a teaspoon of some salt. “What did you do with this salt?” I asked. “I gave it to our chemists for analysis.” They said that these are ordinary sodium and potassium salts present in the human body.

    — Have any special studies been carried out on this salt?

    - Alas... V.V. Kulagin once told about a very simple experiment he had done. He assembled an electrical circuit from two metal plates placed vertically at a distance of five centimeters from each other, connected them to each other in a circuit through a flashlight battery and a microammeter. When Ninel Sergeevna brought her hand closer to the space between the electrodes and strained, the microammeter recorded a current of about ten microamps. I asked E.E. Godik, at that time the head of the special laboratory of the IRE AS USSR, which has now grown into a department, to conduct the corresponding experiments. In the laboratory, a simple installation was urgently assembled, which was a small brass box with a lattice window. A flashlight battery was placed inside, one pole of which was connected to the body of the box, and the other was left free. An electrode was mounted inside, connecting it with a shielded cable to an amplifier, which in turn was connected to a tape recorder.

When Kulagina, having thoroughly washed her hands, brought them to the window of the box and tensed, electrical impulses were recorded at the input of the amplifier and, accordingly, on the tape. Unfortunately, the circuit contained a signal limiter, so only signals exceeding a certain threshold were recorded. In General, however, it became clear that electrical impulses, like the acoustic impulses previously observed in microphone experiments, represent two facets of one process. In both cases, particles flew out of Kulagina’s hands, which, after traveling a relatively short distance, hit the microphone membrane or the eardrum. One of two things: either these particles themselves carried an electric charge, or they ionized the air. Getting on the surface of the glass, they clouded it, getting on the surface of the skin, they formed tiny crystals on it, which irritated the nerve endings, causing an abnormal rush of blood and a burn, like a strong mustard plaster.

So, we have two facets of one process...

Yes, it is a united physiological, previously unknown Process. But that's not all. This summer, V.V. Kulagin told me about experiments related to the effect of Kulagina on water. As soon as she strains and holds her hand near the surface of the water poured into the jar, the liquid begins to taste sour. This is confirmed by litmus paper changing its color. The effect was the same when the jar was closed with a lid, and Ninel Sergeevna simply held it in her hands. These experiments were immediately repeated at my home and... the surprised witnesses tasted the “sour” water (naturally, they did not dare to drink it), and looked at how the litmus paper moistened with it changed its color. The next day we repeated these experiments in the laboratory of E.E. Godik, recording the process this time using a pH meter. The recorder displayed a graph showing a gradual change in the pH of the water from 7 (neutral) to 3-3.5 (acidic). When the jar was covered, the rate of oxidation dropped sharply. Apparently, the particles ejected from the pores of the palms were highly hydrophilic and were easily absorbed and dissolved by water.

    - Sorry, Yuri Borisovich, I’ll interrupt you. Are all the observations made not enough to recognize Kulagina’s ability to create streams of particles flying out of the skin of her hands by force of will? And if this is so, then the telekinesis demonstrated by Kulagina is not a trick, but a physical reality.

    — It is impossible to deny the existence of a flow of particles. But for a scientific explanation of telekinesis, it is necessary to measure the magnitude of charges on bodies, calculate electric fields and show that their intensity provides the emergence of forces sufficient to move objects of a given weight in a force field. I note that sometimes the mechanical impact of flying particles can also have an effect. Since they, despite air resistance, travel a significant distance, it means that they fly out of the hands at high speed.

    — Yuri Borisovich, skeptics most often (albeit unsuccessfully) “convicted” Kulagina of using all kinds of strings, magnets, etc. Have you conducted any experiments in which the possibility of using such accessories would have been excluded in principle?

The most interesting, in my opinion, experiment not only eliminated the possibility of using any threads and magnets, but also eliminated the possibility of particles flying from Kulagina’s hands getting onto the object being moved. For this purpose, IRE produced a plexiglass cube without one face. With its open end, the cube fit tightly into the grooves milled into the thick plexiglass base. A cardboard cartridge case from a hunting cartridge was placed inside the cube. Such a device was conceived precisely to show that telekinesis is not a trick, it is a real fact. After all, the object being moved is non-magnetic, and the possibility of using threads was completely excluded. The experience took place two years ago.

Knowing how much effort Kulagina has to expend in such experiments, I invited our neighbor, a doctor, as a witness. Ninel Sergeevna spent an unusual amount of effort before the cartridge case moved. When she moved to the wall of the cube, Kulagina felt bad. The doctor who measured her blood pressure was horrified. The upper limit was at 230, the lower almost reached 200. They called the neighbor’s husband, also an experienced doctor, he noted a spasm of cerebral vessels, gave the patient to take the medications he brought, and ordered complete rest. “The patient is close to a coma,” he explained to me. “Such experiments can lead to sad consequences...”

    — What explains the movement of the cartridge case?

    — If the movement of an object is explained by the accumulation of charged particles flying out of the hands, then what huge charges must be formed on the surface of the cube so that the Coulomb force of the required magnitude begins to act on an object consisting mainly of a dielectric. Accurate measurements are needed to ensure that this explanation is correct. They haven't been done yet.

    - How, then, is that very first experiment with an electrostatic voltmeter that did not respond to a moving pen cap explained?

“The fact that the device’s needle did not deviate, although the object being moved was charged, can be explained by the fact that the charges on the object were “connected”, balanced with charges of the same magnitude, but opposite in sign, on Kulagina’s hands. The mechanism here is as follows. The charges flew away from the initially neutral hand and settled on the object. In this case, the hand turned out to be charged with electricity of the opposite sign. No charges appeared on the electrometer. But after the end of the experiment, when Kulagina (with her charged hands) moved away from the table, the charges from the object, now unconnected by anything, should spread along the wire and reach the electrometer... But the latter did not react. Maybe the charge was insufficient to deflect the needle?.. In a word, insufficiently correct experience does not allow us to draw a reliable conclusion. Research should be continued. But due to Kulagina’s health, this is hardly possible.

    — Have there been any other experiments that would help clarify the question of telekinesis?

    — There were, but, according to skeptics, they were just as insufficiently correct. Kulagina acted on a laser beam. The beam was passed along the axis of a tin cylinder, at the top of which a hole was punched. At first, the beam illuminated a small bright spot on the screen.

Being in the next room (this happened in Gulyaev’s apartment), I realized from the friendly exclamations of the experimenters that the spot on the screen had disappeared, and the space inside the cylinder seemed to be filled with pink fog. Yu. V. Gulyaev told me that in one of these experiments, two laser beams passed along the axis of the can with different distances to the side hole. The screen was replaced with photo-recording devices, and the light pulses were recorded on two tape tracks.

Knowing the time shift of the pulse signals on the tracks, it was possible to determine the speed of propagation of the impact. It turned out that the impact on a more distant beam was delayed much more than if we were talking about sound (when these experiments were carried out, we knew nothing about corpuscular flows). There was another similar experiment, conducted in my apartment. Unfortunately, it did not give clear results...

    — Do you remember any cases that cast doubt on the correctness of the subject’s actions?

“Such an incident, which spoiled our mood, happened during experiments with the laser. One of the young observers stated (and then one or two more participants joined him) that he saw a thread and even a small object tied to it and lowered by Kulagina into the cylinder through a hole in its wall. I don’t believe that Ninel Sergeevna tried to deceive the experimenters. She didn't need this! Another experiment with a striking result added little to what had already been established with complete certainty. At the same time, I do not question the honesty of the experimenters who saw the thread. Yes, they saw the thread, but there was no thread!

It is known that Indian fakirs are capable of causing amazing, unnatural visions in fairly large groups of people. There are known cases of mass hallucinations among worshipers in church. I myself once experienced a visual hallucination instilled in me by a hypnotist. Rolling up a ruble into a ball, he made me see a hundred-ruble bill, quickly unrolling the lump and rolling it up again. There were other cases that convinced me that you can both see and hear something that is not really there... Self-hypnosis occurred, and the experimenters saw the strings, because they believed that it was impossible to do without them...

    — In 1978, by order of Japan, the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company made the film “Unique Abilities of People,” in particular Kulagina, who demonstrated “reading with the back of her head.” Behind her, the operator put up a table with a picture of a number, and she named this number.

    — When I began to ask Ninel Sergeevna about this experience, she said that, concentrating, she seemed to see what was being shown to her and that it did not matter to her whether it was a number or a multi-digit number. We decided to repeat this experience at my home.

I prepared a number of tablets measuring approximately 4 by 7 cm with random three-digit numbers. He installed them on the shelf of the bookcase, to which Kulagina stood with her back, covering her face with a scarf. Then he walked away from the closet, sat down on a chair and, watching Kulagina, waited for the results. After about ten seconds, Kulagina named the number. Then I put up the next sign. All ten tablets were identified correctly, but some details of the experiment convinced me that no “reading with the back of the head” is happening here, that this is just a familiar ritual...

The essence lies in Kulagina’s ability to perceive the image of a number on a tablet from the consciousness of the person displaying the tablet... I will not expand on this matter; other cases of telepathy that I observed not only in Kulagina are much more convincing and interesting.

The peculiarities of these cases are such that the usually given “explanations” of telepathy - the unusually high sensitivity of the recipient to the facial expressions of the inductor, who, as if involuntarily, “whispers” the desired answer to the recipient, etc., etc. - are completely excluded. Work with Kulagina continues in Leningrad. They give new, very interesting results.

    Angelique Cotten

A case of spontaneous telekinesis occurred with a French girl, Angelique Cottin, when she was 14 years old. On the evening of January 15, 1846, she and three village girls were embroidering. Suddenly the needlework fell out of their hands and the lamp was thrown into the corner. The friends blamed Angelica for everything, in whose presence strange things always happened: furniture moved back, chairs began to fly around the room.

Her parents, hoping to earn some money, organized a show in Mortana. The girl attracted the attention of the Parisian scientist Francois Arago.

When the girl was in an “electrified” state, almost everything that touched her clothes jumped to the side. When Argo tried to touch the girl at the moment of her paroxysm, he experienced a shock, as if from touching a source of electric current. If a magnet was placed near her, even when she was unaware of it, Angelique would begin to shake violently. The compass needles, however, did not react to her presence. Most of the objects that moved with her were wooden.

Angelica was not the only one who had this ability. In 1888, Dr. Ercole Chiaia from Naples described the amazing medium Eusapia Palladino: “This woman attracts objects around her and lifts them into the air. She plays musical instruments—organs, bells, tambourines—without touching them with her hands.”

She was shown to the famous psychiatrist, Professor Cesare Lombroso, who was shocked by what she did. Particularly striking was her ability to leave fingerprints in a cup of mastic from a distance. She forced, and even aggressively, furniture to move towards the audience, and the hands she materialized in the air, devoid of a bodily shell, looked real.

    What is telekinesis

Telekinesis is the ability to influence inanimate objects by force of will.- turn the compass needle, suspend objects in the air, bend metal products, extinguish the flame of a candle from a distance. Among the psychophysical phenomena: clairvoyance, telepathy, proscopy and others, the phenomenon of telekinesis is one of the most intriguing.

These paranormal abilities have long excited the human mind. They were known to the mystic yogis of ancient times, who, it is believed, could materialize objects from the air, move them, and lift them into the air. In the twentieth century, such abilities began to be observed in representatives of younger civilizations who had never heard of yoga or any psychospiritual practices. What are these hidden psychic powers that allow people to influence objects without direct physical influence?

    How does telekinesis work?

Some researchers argue that the impact occurs due to the formation of powerful physical fields (it is noted, for example, that during telekinesis strong pulsed fields of electromagnetic origin and acoustic signals lasting 0.1-0.01 s are generated). Other researchers believe that the effect may occur due to mental effort (psychokinesis). At the same time, thought is considered as an immaterial substance that influences immaterial entities.

The difficulty of studying the phenomenon of telekinesis is due primarily to the fact that it is extremely rare and manifests itself in a pronounced form in only a few. The results of telekinesis experiments are poorly reproducible. This makes it difficult to study it using methods generally accepted in modern natural science. Often the subjects themselves cannot explain how this happens, cannot control this state at will, and have difficulty reproducing it in subsequent experiments.

    How does telekinesis affect health?

Experiments on telekinesis, even with outstanding phenomena, cannot be carried out endlessly, since its manifestation is associated with extreme tension of physical and mental forces, which can significantly damage health. During a demonstration of telekinesis, there is a sharp activation of mental processes, an increase in blood pressure and heart rate. Even after the end of the experiment, the subject cannot return to normal for a long time.

It has been noticed that telekinesis, like other parapsychological abilities, sometimes appears as a result of injuries, illnesses, stress, electric shocks... This confirms the idea of the hidden reserves of the human body, especially the brain. There are cases in history when people, at a distance, bent, moved, suspended forks, spoons and other objects in the air, and also turned the compass needle, changed the clock, dispersed clouds, and extinguished the flame of a candle.

For example, one Western researcher learned to influence the slipper ciliates observed under a microscope with his thoughts. Through the effort of thought, one can also influence the growth of plants, the development of pathogenic fungi, the metabolic process in a living organism, the treatment of wounds...

Ability to move large objects with your mind

All this sounds so incredible that it would be easier to consider conversations about telekinesis as fairy tales, but there are living human phenomena who demonstrate unique abilities - “with the power of thought” they can move large objects (N.S. Kulagina), suspend them in the air and hold them on weight for a long time (E.D. Shevchik). And such precedents are not uncommon.

Scientists have long been interested in the question of what is the nature of such phenomena: the result of the actions of spirits or the power of the human mind? In 1854, the Comte de Rasparin reported successful experiments with moving a table carried out in Switzerland, during which several people sitting around a table moved it by force of will. He believed that this phenomenon was caused by some invisible force produced by the participants in the experiment themselves.

Psychokinesis can occur with or without conscious effort. In 1912-1914. Everard Fielding, a member of the Society for Psychical Research, studied the ability of the Polish medium Stanislava Tomczuk. In a state of hypnosis, she controlled her abilities, causing spoons and matchboxes to move without touching them.

    Austrians Willy and Rudi Schneider

The Austrians Willy and Rudi Schneider, who became world famous, could make a handkerchief rise from the floor, and it would change shape as if there was a hand inside it, with the knuckles clearly visible. Objects moved around the room during their sessions, although no one touched them. In the presence of both brothers, the German writer Thomas Mann watched as a bell on the floor rang vigorously of its own accord. Many scientists began to come to Braunau to see for themselves their abilities. Among them was Albert Freiherr, a physician and parapsychologist who, from the end of 1921, over the course of several years, conducted a total of 124 experiments to study the abilities of the brothers.

Another person demonstrating telekinesis is B.V. Ermolaev, a specialist in the field of cinema. He would pick up various objects (lighters, cigarettes, cigarette boxes, glasses, etc.), hold these objects in his hands, and then let them go. Objects hovered in the air at a distance of up to 5 cm from the hands. There are photographs that show hanging a cigarette, a box of matches. But the most curious thing is that he could hang matches that had fallen out of the box in the air.

    Uri Geller

The so-called “Geller effect” became known to scientists who observed Uri Geller, who was born in Tel Aviv in 1946. Already at the age of four, his ability to bend metal spoons with the force of his mind was evident. In 1972, American paranormal investigator Andria Puharik brought it to the attention of physicists Russell Targ and Harold Puthoff of the Stanford Research Institute in California.

However, the question of how psychokinetic effects are achieved with the help of the mind is still awaiting solution.

In recent years, telekinesis has been most actively studied by employees of Princeton University (USA) under the leadership of Dr. Robert Jahn, who heads the laboratory of anomalous research. They were able to prove: a person can influence material objects with his psyche. According to a strictly verified methodology, thousands of experiments were carried out there, in which hundreds of people participated - men and women of different ages and professions. One of the groups was faced with the task of mentally influencing the oscillation of a pendulum placed under a transparent plastic cap. Five subjects managed to do this at any time of the day at a considerable distance, the rest - only in isolated cases.

The influence of telekinesis on technology

Scientists have found that with the power of the mind you can influence a variety of devices and liquid media. These are ultra-precise chronometers, lasers, electrical circuits, generators of electromagnetic radiation, emulsions, colloidal solutions, water... The fact that thought can influence physical bodies is no longer a secret to anyone. If scientists accept this fact, it could change the entire scientific picture of the world.

Some researchers suggest that each of us is endowed with similar “paranormal” abilities that were once natural to humans, they are simply in a latent state. Future experiments may help reveal more about the nature of telekinesis. For now, we can only state the fact of the existence of a special psi energy that controls telekinesis.
