How beautiful to arrange tulips. Wedding bouquet of the bride from tulips. Types of packaging bouquets

Among the entire population of the kingdom of flowers, the tulip occupies a special place. Firstly, its history goes back many centuries, secondly, ancient singers and poets have always sung tulips in their poems and songs, and thirdly, a whole era in the history of the Ottoman state is named after them. What other flower can boast such a track record? Tulips symbolize good luck, happiness, the brightest and warmest feelings, so giving such a bouquet means wishing happiness, love, good luck and all the best that can happen to a person. In order for the bouquet to turn out really harmonious and beautiful and please the eye for a long time, it must be properly composed. You can learn how to properly compose a bouquet of tulips from this article on working with your own hands.

There are more than 100 types of tulips in total, and thanks to this variety of types and colors, the tulip has become one of the most popular flowers on earth. A bouquet of tulips can be presented to any person and for any reason, the main thing is to correctly compose the composition in accordance with the occasion and the personality of the recipient.

There are only two options for composing a bouquet of tulips - this is single-species, when one or more types of plants are included in one composition, and composite, when other plants are present in addition to tulips in the bouquet. At the same time, it is necessary to clearly understand which plants can be included in the bouquet along with tulips, and which not. For example, you can not make a bouquet of tulips and daffodils, as daffodils release poison into the water, which clogs the capillaries of tulips, and the flowers quickly wither. In addition, you need to carefully consider color combinations, otherwise you can get an unpresentable and ridiculous bouquet.

Let's take a step-by-step look at the whole process of forming a bouquet of tulips in order not only to learn how to make beautiful bouquets, but also to maximize the life of flowers in them.

We study a master class on making a bouquet of tulips with our own hands

In order to correctly compose a bouquet of these charming flowers, it is not necessary to be a florist by education, knowledge about the combination of colors and good taste is enough.

Before making a bouquet, you need to decide on the number of flowers that you need. At the same time, you need to know in advance which vase the flowers will be in - the stems should be quite tightly located in the neck of the vase, but at the same time not be too compressed.

Decide on the color scheme of the bouquet. If you buy flowers to decorate the interior, then you can be guided by the color scheme of the room, or, conversely, play in contrast. If you choose flowers for a particular person, then you need to pay attention to what each color means in the language of tulips and the person's attitude to this color. For example, yellow tulips say: "Your smile shines like the sun," but many consider them unlucky.

After you have chosen and brought the tulips home, you need to cut their stems a couple of centimeters diagonally, and this should be done under running water, otherwise the air can clog the capillaries through which water enters the flowers, and they will wither faster.

Remove most of the leaves from the flowers - they are an additional source of bacteria, and carefully inspect the remaining leaves for dirt and debris.

Wrap the tulips in flower paper or plain newspaper so that the stems are a third open at the bottom and the top edge of the paper is slightly higher than the flowers. Leave the flowers in this position for a couple of hours in cool water, then remove them from the paper and arrange them as you like. As soon as the flowers begin to wilt again, this procedure can be repeated.

Another technique for assembling bouquets, which every florist uses, is called a spiral, but at home you can not use it, the main thing is to put all your love for flowers and good mood into the bouquet and you will get a beautiful bouquet that will convey all your love bouquet recipient.

When you start assembling a bouquet, you first of all take the central flowers, which you place between the large and index finger, then apply ornamental grass to them, while slightly tilting the lower part of the stem to the side. We apply another flower to the grass, then grass again, and so until the end of the bouquet we alternate grass and flower in a circle with a slight slope. This is the spiral technique. After that, we tighten the stems with a rope in the place where you hold your hand. Cut the stems and put the bouquet in the water.

Such a bouquet as a gift for any holiday in combination with sweets will be an excellent gift for a colleague, mother, grandmother, sister and any other woman or girl with the right choice of colors.

Instead of ornamental grass or in addition to it, you can take a few mimosa bushes, as a traditional plant by March 8th. A bouquet of tulips and mimosa looks no worse than bouquets of roses or other expensive flowers. And if you consider that some women do not like roses because of the banality, then tulips in this case will be an excellent alternative, because their colors are very diverse and there are sure to be flowers that will appeal to even the most demanding of the fair sex.

The photo shows several options for bouquets of tulips, which everyone can make with their own hands, and such bouquets will please the eye much longer than ready-made ones bought in a flower shop.

Step 1. We will need:

  • Candy
  • Floral crepe paper (thick) we have red.
  • Artificial leaf of aspedistra (for a leaflet).
  • Floral wire.
  • Tape.
  • Ribbon (or thread).
  • Scissors.

Step 2 Let's create the base of our stem.

Step 3 Let's make the petals. To do this, cut a strip (along the entire length of the roll) 4 cm wide from a roll of paper, then divide the strip into 5 equal parts (there are 5 petals in our tulip, you can vary the number from 3 to 7) each segment is 10 cm long. Cut out the petals

Step 4. With the thumbs of both hands, gently pull out the petal - we get a "boat"

Step 5. Repeat step 4 with each petal

Step 6. Now we form a bud. We fix the candy by the “tail” on the wire with tape (or thread)

Step 7. Gently press the second "tail" to the candy and apply the first petal, thereby securing the "tail". Fasten with a ribbon (or thread).

Step 8. Repeat with all the petals. The bud is ready.

Step 9. We take the teip tape and make out the stalk.

Step 10 The flower is ready. Let's decorate it with a leaf.

Step 11. From an artificial aspidistra leaf, cut out a leaf that resembles a tulip leaf in shape.

Step 12. We apply the sheet to the stem and fix it with teip tape.

Step 13 We decorate the bouquet with any material. Any design options are possible, such as classic transparent mica or colored wrapping paper.

A properly selected bouquet of tulips can decorate any room. When composing it, you will need to choose the color of the tulips, the size of the bouquet and the type of container in which you want to put it. If properly cared for, tulips will delight you for more than a week.

Steps

Selection and preparation of tulips

Decide how many tulips to buy. The amount depends on what composition you want to compose. For a large bouquet, 9 or 11 flowers are required (if you are not superstitious, you can take a dozen), for a small bouquet, 3 or 5 are enough. You can put tulips one at a time.

    • It is also good to imagine, even before buying, in which vase or other vessel you plan to put tulips. Ideally, their stems should fit snugly enough into the neck of the vase, but not be tightly compressed.
  1. Choose a color. Tulips come in a wide variety of colors, and your bouquet can include one or more colors.

  2. Choose tulips that haven't opened yet. The bouquet will last longer if you choose unopened buds whose color has just begun to show - just enough so that you can determine which color you are buying.

    • Tulips that have already begun to open will stand beautifully for a day or two, but since they are at a later stage in their life cycle, such a bouquet will not last long.
  3. Cut the stems under running water. With a clean, sharp knife, cut off the bottom 1.3–2.5 cm of each stem. The cut should be made diagonally so that the stems can absorb more water.

    • As the stems dry out, their capillaries gradually close, limiting the flowers' ability to receive water. A fresh cut will open the capillaries again, and it will be easier for the tulips to “drink”.
    • You can prune tulips by laying them flat, but it is recommended to do this in running water or in a container of water so that air does not enter the cut and clog the capillaries in the stem through which the flower receives water.
  4. Remove most of the leaves. At a minimum, you need to remove the bottom leaf from each stem. If desired, you can remove more leaves to change appearance your bouquet.

    • When composing a medium or large bouquet, usually only the top leaf is left on each stem. This is enough to give a bouquet of greenery and volume, making it lush. Excess leaves will distract attention from the flowers.
    • Check for dirt on the leaves you are leaving. Wipe or wash away any debris that may have been on the inside of the sheet.
    • To remove the leaves, simply pull each leaf back and gently peel it off the stem like a peel.
  5. Straighten the tulips. Before arranging the bouquet, it is a good idea to prepare the stems so that they are strong and straight.

    • Wrap all tulips in folded newspaper or wrapping paper. The top edge of the paper should be above the tops of the tulips, and the bottom should be about a third of the length of the stems exposed.
    • Place the wrapped bouquet in a clean container of cold water. There should be enough water so that all open stems are immersed in it.
    • Leave the tulips in this position for an hour or two. Then take them out of the paper and arrange them as you wish.
    • Keep in mind that you can periodically repeat this procedure as soon as the tulips in the bouquet begin to wilt.

    Making a bouquet of tulips

    1. Choose a capacity. Tulips look great in a variety of vessels. You can use a traditional vase, or you can use a container for a different purpose as an experiment.

      • When choosing a container, you need to consider the size. Large compositions look best in tall and wide vessels, while small ones look best in low or narrow containers.
      • You can take a crystal, metal or ceramic vase.
      • If you want to make a bouquet in a country style, use a container that was not originally intended for flowers. Suitable options are large glass jars, tins, jugs, teapots and plastic cups.
    2. Wash the container. Wash the selected container with hot water and detergent, then rinse thoroughly to avoid leaving any residue.

      • Bacteria can drastically shorten the life of cut tulips, so it's important to start with a clean container if you want the flowers to last a few days.
    3. Pour some warm water. Fill the container about three-quarters full with cool to lukewarm water.

      • The stems suck cool water lighter than ice water, so if you want to keep your tulips healthy, it's best to use room temperature water.
    4. Trim the tulips to the desired height, if necessary. For most compositions, they should be trimmed so that about one third of the height of the stem protrudes above the vase.

      • This height takes into account the natural bending of the stem.
      • For large bouquets, about 13 cm of the stem is usually left above the edge of the vessel. For medium and small, leave about 10 cm.
      • As before, cut the stems under running water with a clean, sharp knife.
    5. Arrange the flowers around the edge of the bouquet. Place two-thirds to three-quarters of your tulips around the perimeter of the vessel.

      • You can arrange the stems strictly vertically, or you can have them cross over inside the container, forming a net that will hold them in place. In the first case, the tulips will stand straight, in the second - with an outward slope.
    6. Fill in the middle. With the remaining tulips, fill the free space in the center of the bouquet. Try to keep the same distance between them.

      • If the outer tulips are tilted, the central ones should also be placed at a slight angle.
      • Similarly, if the tulips stand straight at the edges, they also need to be placed vertically in the middle.
    7. Rotate the bouquet. If you have placed the tulips vertically, grasp the bouquet just above the rim of the container with both hands and slightly turn the tops of the stems to one side.

      • As a result, the bouquet will open slightly like a fan, but the stems will not bend. The effect will not be as noticeable as when crossing the stems, however, the load on the stems will also be lower.

Arrangement of tulips one by one

    1. Choose a capacity. There are many ways to beautifully place a single tulip, but the vessel must be either very narrow or very low.

      • A single flower vase would be fine as a more traditional option, or you could opt for a tall and narrow cylindrical vase that is taller than the tulip itself. The vase should be narrow enough for the flower to stay in place and not dangle inside.
      • Bottles with a narrow neck will be a good choice if you are leaning towards rustic country style. In this case, tea cups, jars from baby food or small tin cans.
    2. Wash the container thoroughly. Use hot water and detergent to clean the selected vessel from the slightest trace of dirt and debris. Rinse it under clean running water to remove any detergent residue.

      • If there are bacteria in the vase or water, the tulips will wither much faster than in a clean vase.
    3. Fill the container with water. Pour enough water into the vessel to submerge from half to three-quarters of the height of the stem.

      • How much you need to fill the vessel depends on its height.
        • In tall, narrow containers, the water should cover about three-quarters of the height of the stem.
        • A low and wide vessel may not be that high, but still try to keep at least half of the stem submerged in water so that the flower does not suffer from dehydration.
      • Use lukewarm water, as it is easier for tulips to "drink" than ice cold water.
    4. Trim the stem further if necessary. The stem length of your tulip will depend on the vessel you are using.

      • When you use a tall, narrow vessel that fits the whole tulip, a long stem looks more attractive than a short one. The tulip should end below the rim, but there shouldn't be too much empty glass above it.
      • If you are using a standard single-flower narrow-mouthed vase, two-thirds to three-quarters of the stem should be inside the vase.
      • If you use a wide and low vessel, its depth should be at least half the height of the tulip stem.

Tulip is a flower that is a symbol of March 8, spring. Unusual in its beauty and colors plant. It, unlike roses, can be presented to any female representative, for any reason. First you need to decide whether your bouquet will be small or large. Three or five flowers are enough for the first, and nine or eleven for the second. You can get by with one, it all depends on your idea.

It is assumed that the bouquet will stand in a vase.

If you are making a bouquet for yourself, then remember that it will be better if the stems enter the vessel tightly. If the composition will be presented as a gift, you can buy a vase of a suitable size in advance and include it as a gift.

As for the color, then there is a great choice. The bouquet may include flowers of different shades or be in the same color scheme.

In the case when the bouquet is selected for your interior, you can choose color scheme to match the color accents of the room or to complement the main shades. For example, if the basic scale of the room is blue pastel, and the accents are red, then tulips can be either in a red hue or close to cold.

Both in the interior and as a gift, color schemes can be selected based on the meaning of the colors of a particular shade. The red tulip is a symbol of love, when you give such a bouquet, you send a message asking you to believe in you. And such flowers displayed in the room will fill the house with positive energy of well-being and prosperity.

Yellow flowers used to speak of unrequited love. However, such flowers bring happiness, the joy of a smile, laughter, creative energy to the house, so they are the best suited for an office, a nursery. As a gift, it means a compliment to the cheerfulness and smile of the one to whom it is presented.

As for the condition of the flowers themselves, it is better to choose those whose buds have not yet opened, and the color is barely showing through.

Training

We cut the stems under a stream of running water, always with a sharp and, pay attention, with a clean knife about 1.5-2.5 cm from the end.

You need to cut diagonally, so you provide the flower with the opportunity to absorb more moisture.

We remove more leaves, although you can stop at one leaf from each flower. Keep in mind that when composing a bouquet of medium or large size, florists, as a rule, leave only the top sheet, respectively, on small ones, you can leave a little more to add splendor. We remove the existing dirt and debris on the flowers.

Before assembling the bouquet, you can straighten the flowers, give them a shape. Simply wrapped in paper, a newspaper bouquet (the upper edge should be above the level of the buds) is set for an hour and a half or two in cold water. It is better to do this just before giving, so it is better to buy flowers in the morning.

Bouquet formation

It has already been suggested above to make a bouquet based on a vase. Therefore, we take it, wash it thoroughly, wipe it, pour warm water. We arrange most of the edges of the vessel, then fill the middle. If we want the bouquet to stand as vertically as possible, then we put the stems like that, and if they cross, then the flowers along the edges will be tilted.

If you want to present a bouquet in its classic form in a package, then, having laid it out in a vase or similar container, simply take it out, slightly dry the stems and wrap it in wrapping paper, mica, etc. The options are shown below in the photo.
