What types of Lenormand Tarot card decks are there? Tarot card decks. Types and classification. How to choose? Adviсe

Of course, the choice of Tarot deck is individual, and a lot depends on your tastes. However, if you seriously intend to learn the art of prediction or study the Tarot as an encyclopedia of occult symbolism, you should opt for one or more serious decks that carry a whole history of the development of philosophical thought. How often is it difficult for a novice tarot reader or adept of magical science to understand which deck is worth his time and money and which is not.

After all, the choice is huge, and the resources are not unlimited. Moreover, I would like to begin to understand the Tarot, if not immediately, then after several months of study. There are decks with which this is simply impossible. But first, I'll tell you what's important in decks. Of course, I will not be able to describe all the existing versions of the Tarot in this article, but after reading you should have a fairly complete idea of what they are like.

Briefly about the method

Each of the major arcana of the Tarot is an archetype, a collective image of a force or energy that causes certain changes in your life. Images of earthly and divine parents, the shadow side of personality, inspiring or terrifying images of sexual partners, as well as various signs and symbols of good and bad luck, movement and stagnation, separation and unification - all this relates to the depths of our psyche. Ideally, a Tarot layout is a photograph of a person, his personal history, mentality and an indication of his prospects in this regard. After all, there is no future whose roots are not in the past. And there is no situation that is not indicated in one way or another by some signs, be it in a dream, a vision or an answer from an oracle.

The minor arcana of the Tarot can be compared to the Book of Changes, the I-Ching. They contain signs of a particular situation. Situations follow one another, but if you follow them long enough, you will notice the repetition of situations. The minor arcana are almost an exact copy of a deck of playing cards, with the help of which you can also predict fate, but this prediction will be quite flat: there will be not enough depth and an answer to the question of which archetype dominates the situation.

Each Tarot deck also contains 16 face cards representing people. The meaning of these cards is considered the most complex. On the one hand, they depict a person who is involved in the situation. On the other hand, they can indicate the character traits of the person being told fortunes. These qualities can help or hinder him on his path, depending on the color of the minor arcana.

Truly valuable Tarot decks are distinguished by the fact that they have a strictly ordered system of interpretation. Interpretations are not taken out of thin air and the imagination of the author, but are derived from a finite number of symbols and signs.

In the “correct” decks, all these signs are marked on the cards and help at one time or another during practice to see one of the necessary symbols and apply them in interpretation. The word “correct” is in quotation marks because, on the one hand, almost every magical or tarological school considers only its interpretation to be correct, and on the other hand, each drawn deck has the right to exist within its own boundaries - either for meditation or for personal understanding its author.

In the “correct” decks, each card corresponds to one of the five elements (elements), one of the seven planets and/or a zodiac sign. Each major arcana carries the same information as a deity, which can be found, if desired, in each of the pagan pantheons of antiquity and even in monotheistic religions in the form of the names of god, angels and saints. Therefore, the major arcana have only one meaning: in front of us is either a planet, an element, or a zodiac sign. All these keys are contained in the Rose Cross of the Rosicrucians.

And here is an image of the Rosy Cross, containing all the keys to the Tarot and the occult tradition. On the cross, the central rose consists of petals with one of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The Kabbalah is another way of interpreting the Tarot, and knowledge of it is contained in the Sephiroth of the Tree of Life.

Each face card (or court card, as they are also called) is a combination of two elements - for example, fire and air, water and earth. In the best decks, the minor arcana correspond to the planets in the zodiac sign and element.

Tarot card images must take into account correspondences with the elements and planets. They must be of the appropriate color, and their heroes must bear symbols that correspond to the gods of one or more pantheons.

Best decks

Aleister Crowley or Rider-Waite?

Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot deck is a treasure trove of symbols. Compared to other decks, there is much more detail in its major arcana. Its study may take many years, but in the art of prediction you will advance further than those who use simpler decks. You will not depend solely on intuition or the grace of the gods to show you the right cards. You will know their exact decoding. But the deck is certainly not suitable for those who do not want to delve deeply into the nature of the Tarot. This is not a toy or entertainment. The deck holds secret keys to human abilities, and if you are looking for Tarot to just want to tell your fortune at Christmas time, do not take it.

The Rider-Waite deck is also a useful tool for fortune telling and the study of symbolism, and many tarot readers choose it exclusively. In any case, in the depiction of the major arcana, every detail of the image of the central figure carries a symbolic meaning, although there are many orders of magnitude fewer such details than in Crowley.

It is also difficult to trace the system in the interpretation of the minor arcana. For Waite, it is based on a system of fortune telling using ordinary playing cards, while Crowley correlates his minor arcana with the planets in the zodiac sign, calculates the cabalistic meaning, and gives the corresponding hexagrams from the I Ching and geomantic signs. Although the system seems complex at first glance, in the end it is more orderly and logical.

Tarot of Papus and Oswald Wirth

These decks have a different, but rather logical system of correspondences from the previous two decks and, in general, displays important aspects of the archetypes that are embedded in the idea of each of the arcana. They contain quite a lot of symbolism, details, symbols that will help to understand them not flatly and specifically, but in a general way, in order to grasp the meaning for a person of the idea that stands behind them. Several times I have heard the opinion that the predictive power of these decks is quite high. Difficulties can arise only when correlating these cards with Hebrew letters. Also, the numbering of the arcana raises some doubts, but, in theory, this should not greatly affect the predictions.

Decks that are interesting at a certain stage of learning

Marseille Tarot

Drawn quite simply and flatly (there is clearly a lack of color palette), the deck is useful for studying the Tarot as a worldview system for humanity. Without the Tarot of Marseilles, it will be difficult to understand the history of the deck, which slowly but surely changed, without the Tarot of Marseilles, which is an intermediate link between the oldest decks from the time of Visconti and the more modern Papus and Waite ones. However, it is unlikely that it will be possible to fully understand the system of Tarot symbolism and learn the art of prediction from scratch using only this deck.

Tarot of the Order of the Golden Dawn

Suitable for those who are determined to study Jewish-Egyptian magic and Kabbalah. The deck is a reflection of the worldview described in the book by Israel Regardie, “The Complete System of the Order of the Golden Dawn.” It was from this deck that Aleister Crowley drew inspiration when creating his own, although the decks are not very similar to each other. More suitable for the study of symbolism than for prediction. The problem with this deck is that there is little literature on its interpretation, so the decoding of some symbols remains a matter of guesswork.

Tarot Visconti-Sforza

One of the oldest decks that have come down to us. They say that it was assembled from several Milanese decks that were in circulation during the reign of King Visconti. He himself ordered one of them from the artist. The deck contains some important keys that help you better understand the meanings of each of the major arcana.

Tarot Liber T “Stars of Eternity”

Those who like Aleister Crowley's Tarot of Thoth will be interested in studying this deck. The major Arcana are depicted here in less detail, but the minor ones are beautiful because they tell a certain myth that can be useful for their understanding. It is difficult to use this deck for fortune telling, because the interpretation of the minor arcana is not always limited to the myth they tell, but it is very advisable to know it and keep it in mind when using the Thoth Tarot.

Tarot of the Lon by Milo Duquette

This is a deck not for fortune telling, but for magical rituals. In addition to some additions to the symbolism of each arcana, this deck is especially necessary for those who practice Enochian magic, as well as other evocations of spirits, as it contains a system for combining Enochian tablets and spirit sigils with Tarot cards.

Russian Tarot, Egyptian Tarot, Italian Tarot

We see in these decks a pursuit of stylization, which harms the information content of each of the arcana, but this group of decks deserves a few minutes of our attention (provided that the symbolism of the Tarot is already well known to us).

Indeed, the image of Ivanushka the Fool from the Russian Tarot is close in meaning to the Jester from the Thoth Tarot, but this is only one aspect of the idea contained in the lasso. If we are talking about the Egyptian Tarot, then Thoth really perfectly corresponds to the idea of the Magician card, but, firstly, other meanings and ideas that it contains are lost (and which are well revealed if we study several serious decks at the same time), and secondly secondly, the opportunity to combine symbols inherent in the gods of different pantheons is lost.

The most useless decks

"Frivolous" decks

Tarot of gnomes, angels, witches, vampires, etc. In such decks, in pursuit of style, the very versatility of the symbols is lost. Each of the arcana may have only one coincidence with more serious analogues, or may not have it at all. For example, an angel on a card from the Guardian Angels Temperance deck can pour white liquid from one vessel to another, and on the Justice card there will be scales, as in serious decks. But all other matches will be lost.

The fact is that these decks cannot be true: in the Tarot there are simultaneously gnomes, witches, and angels - but they are not the main characters, but only accompany secret and multifaceted symbols, which are best depicted in the form of human figures ( as in Waite and Visconti) or in the form of impersonal deities (as in Crowley). The main thing in the Tarot is an archetype that can be described with the help of symbols, and no dwarves themselves are able to do this without leaving a trace of their “dwarven” energy, if such is even possible.

Standing a little apart are such decks as Madame Lenormand cards, Osho Zen Tarot, Tarot Manara, as well as many designer decks. The fact is that at one of the degrees of initiation, each magician must draw his own deck. There are too many designer decks to list here. Lenormand cards and most of the author's decks are more like solitaire for fortune-telling, rather than a serious generally accepted (at least within one of the schools) system of correspondences. In principle, you can tell fortunes using coffee grounds, animal entrails, and Lenormand cards. But fortune telling on the Osho Zen Tarot is hardly possible. These are more of a meditation card. The only thing we don’t know is why such cards are called Tarot?

Tarot of Hieronymus Bosch, Sandro Botticelli, etc.

These decks don't work at all. They are even worse than the previous type, because modern compilers simply took them out of the paintings of various characters and placed them on the lassos. For example, the real Pope from Botticelli’s painting “The Temptation of Christ” migrated to the Hierophant (High Priest, Pope) map. Venus from the painting “Birth of Venus” - on the Empress card. But Tarot is different in that color matches and various details are important. If Bosch or Botticelli painted their popes and empresses without wanting to compare them with certain arcana (often their goal was to ridicule a certain person in power or talk about an impending coup), then the Tarot from such pictures simply will not work. After all, in the Tarot there are not specific popes and empresses - they are collective images that carry such depth that can never be represented by a specific person. Well, in general, artists who draw Tarot at least think about the Tarot and the symbolic figures that need to be depicted, whereas in the case of artists’ Tarot, ready-made figures are pulled onto the lasso (read - pulled by the ears).

The exception is Giger's Tarot, who, in any case, participated in the creation of the deck. But this deck is too specific and is hardly suitable for everyday use.

Sequence of studying maps

First, I recommend familiarizing yourself with the Rider-Waite Tarot. It is the most popular, and you have probably already seen it. Then it makes sense to look at the Visconti-Sforza Tarot to see that the Tarot has its own unique history. Then you should purchase Aleister Crowley's Tarot of Thoth and books on its interpretation and delve into the history of occult symbolism. After a fairly intense strain of your brain and putting the symbolism of the Tarot into a certain system, you can quickly study all the other Tarot decks (except for the most useless ones).

After some time, you will see for yourself how well you can distinguish serious decks from frivolous ones, useful from useless ones, and also decide which system of correspondence and school of interpretation is closer to you.

Lenormand Tarot decks ( ) are dedicated to the layouts of Marie Lenormand, the famous French fortune teller and soothsayer. She used ordinary playing cards to tell fortunes, but her predictions were so accurate, and she herself gained such fame that various Lenormand oracles were created and are still being created based on her predictive system. Their number is constantly increasing, so it is difficult to list them all. And in this article you will learn about the main decks that can be found in Russia, and you will understand how to choose the deck that is best suited for you.

The two main Lenormand Tarots are the large and small decks. The Great Lenormand Oracle is 78 cards full of mythological references, star charts, symbols and meanings to be deciphered with books and a notebook. This deck is not recommended for beginners, as it is not easy to understand, but it answers questions that other decks rarely answer: where to find the missing item, what this or that situation will lead to, whether the person is alive now and where he is.

The small Lenormand tarot deck, on the contrary, is suitable for any novice tarot reader. There are only 36 cards in it, and the symbols that you will find in the layouts have a unique meaning. You can always check the instructions for the deck with it. This oracle does not have any special specifics, and answers any questions equally well, but do not expect complexity and special depth from it: like any universal mantic system, it can do a little of everything, and to delve deeper into complex areas, we recommend having another deck. By the way, if you want to make layouts not only for yourself, but also to answer people’s questions, such a universal deck copes with this task perfectly.

To break down the layout of the inner world, the intertwining of destinies, and possible developments of the situation, we recommend the Golden Oracle Lenormand decks by Ciro Marchetti and the Fairy Oracle. These decks refer to fairy tales and legends in their symbols, and if the Golden Oracle talks about destinies, the stars and the meaning of everything that happens to us, then the Fairy Oracle tells more about the inner path of one person. The Fairy Oracle is perfect for a person who is looking for his own paths that lead him to harmony and purpose.

For questions about love, about human relationships, and about the internal transformations that accompany any great love, we recommend the Lenormand cards “Secrets of the Old Castle”. Don’t let the gothic drawings and the gloomy atmosphere of this deck scare you: in fact, its thoughtful images are very romantic and reveal all the nuances of love relationships in the best possible way, and if there are problems, the oracle will tell you how to find your happiness.

There is probably not a single person who has not heard of or is not interested in the system of fortune telling using Tarot cards. But few people know that there are a huge number of different types of cards in the world.

And choosing the most suitable deck for yourself can be quite difficult. But if you carefully understand what types of tarot cards exist, making an informed choice will be much easier.

What you should know about Tarot

The very first mentions of a deck of Tarot cards appeared in the very distant past. Unfortunately, the exact date is unknown. Today, there are several theories of their origin, each of which finds new supporters every day.

Some researchers are confident that these maps contain unique knowledge of Atlantis, which was previously contained in the book of Thoth.

And after the death of the ancient civilization, they were handed over to the priests in Ancient Egypt. But the Egyptian civilization was also destroyed. According to legend, the ancient priests of Egypt, who had been keeping knowledge for a long time, decided to encrypt it in a special deck of cards.

And later it underwent significant changes. First, Kabbalistic signs from Ancient Palestine were added to the maps.

The deck was then transported to Europe. And ultimately, the very first deck, containing as many as 78 cards, was first made in Italy.

A variety of interpretations and names of Tarot cards have survived to this day, which may differ not only in meaning, but also in the number of arcana. And conditionally we can distinguish a certain classification. Although the same deck is sometimes classified as different types.

And often they are not assigned to any specific species at all. Therefore, it is often difficult for a novice tarot reader to choose the right deck for himself. But having familiarized himself with the most common ones, it will be much easier to make the right choice.

Below are the most famous types of cards that have received the widest distribution around the world.

Classic decks of cards

This category includes Tarot cards whose types were created in ancient times by an unknown author. They have 78 arcana, which are divided into several main suits. Over the several hundred years of their existence, maps have undergone significant changes, and it would be quite difficult to call them universal. After all, they are able to give answers only to certain questions.

Today, the following classic types of Tarot decks are widely known:

  1. Marseille Tarot.
This deck got its name due to the fact that it was first made in Marseille. The arcana included in the Tarot of Marseilles are executed in a special style that fully complies with all the canons of symbolism. And this type of tarot cards does not have meanings as such. And each lasso here is nothing more than a certain symbol, the meaning of which still needs to be unraveled. Each small curl can carry meaning and some kind of hint.
  2. Egyptian Tarot.
It has a mystical origin and is actively used by modern tarot readers. It is believed that the first deck was created by the famous esotericist Papus. It included tarot cards that were black and white. And only more than half a century later a color version was published. Among the features of the Egyptian Tarot, one should highlight the image of the goddess Isis on the Priestess card, the absence of a number on the Jester's lasso and the drawing of the minor arcana.
  3. Renaissance Tarot.
They were first created during the Renaissance and have an appearance with special iconography. The arcana depict a world of aristocratic ideals, the origins of which allow us to look into the past and provide an opportunity to know the future. But tarologists note a certain capriciousness of these cards, which may not answer ordinary everyday questions. But their symbolism is simple and therefore the interpretation will be simple even for beginners.
  4. Montaigny Tarot.
It is considered a fairly easy-to-understand deck, which tarot readers often classify as oracles and therefore recommend laying out in addition. Cards of this type are arranged in 5 rows, completely covering the conditions of life, the world of science and art, the characters of people, as well as the celestial sphere. Montaigny's Arcana indicates and guides along a certain path of development, but often does not give exact answers to the questions posed.
  5. Etteila deck.
It is distinguished by its clear drawing and the presence of a certain interpretation, which can be easily read in the forward and reverse position. With the Arcana of Etteila, you can find out the most likely events of the future, based on the current state of affairs. Arcana are also capable of pointing out possible dangers that threaten the fortuneteller in the foreseeable future.

The listed varieties of classic decks are not the only ones. But they are rightfully considered the most popular and widespread. With it, any beginner can master the mysterious world of the Tarot card system. Especially if you show patience and diligence.

Tarot cards are known to a large number of people today. Many of us have heard about such magical accessories for fortune telling and their properties. These cards are covered with riddles and secrets that hide the deep meaning and knowledge of all things. Their origin is controversial to this day, but historians, based on research, are inclined to believe that Tarot appeared in the centuries of the last millennium.

Tarot cards can predict fate when used correctly

A little about the history of Tarot

Few people know the true history of the appearance and origin of Tarot cards. Many ordinary people think that this magical accessory for fortune telling was invented by the gypsies, others say that the Tarot came to us from the time of the Mayan Indians. And only a select few true connoisseurs know that in fact the cradle of birth of these smart cards is Ancient Egypt.

But according to legend, these cards came to Ancient Egypt as one of the options for interpreting the great knowledge that we inherited from the magicians of Atlantis. At the moment, it is still unknown when and what type the first deck of Tarot Cards was. The varieties of Tarot cards expanded and changed over time, until they appeared to users in their modern form.

The mystical beauty of fortune telling with Tarot cards

In principle, the mysticism of fortune telling itself is something common between predictions and providence. Professional fortune tellers rely on their hands, while beginners pay tribute to fateful alignments. In principle, the work of both completely depends on what plans the Higher Power will give them and what secrets Life itself is ready to reveal.

If, in the process of working with ordinary cards, it is enough for a fortuneteller to simply be able to compare the combinations that have fallen out, then in the case of Tarot cards, the fortuneteller must also be able to work with her feelings and have the ability to tune in to the same wavelength as the client. As my practice shows, clients want to receive answers to a wide variety of questions:

Tarot cards can answer many questions

  • for love;
  • for good luck in work;
  • for business;
  • for children;
  • on the husband;
  • for a future meeting;
  • to events;
  • just for the future.

In most cases, if the one who works with cards has good practice, he can, by tuning into the client’s energy, lay out the cards in such a way as to reveal to the client the most important issues of his future.

It’s not easy to tell people what awaits them, because the cards don’t always say good things, and therefore, no matter what the alignment shows, don’t write off being angry with a careless fortune teller who predicted not very rosy events for you. Maybe it will happen that, knowing what fate is destined for you, you will be able to change what was destined if you listen carefully to what they tell you.

The true face of tarot cards

Tarot cards are a deck of 78 cards on which various graphic designs are applied, they are called Archetypes. With the help of these cards, a person can know himself as a spiritual Divine creature, understand and find the meaning of life, achieve the highest harmony and find out what place a person occupies in the whole world and universe.

Tarot cards: types of decks

The style of using Tarot Cards could change, and accordingly several distinctive decks and different types of Tarot cards appeared:

  1. The Visconti-Sforza Tarot is currently considered the most ancient deck of Tarot Cards.
  2. Egyptian Tarot - containing parts of the culture of Egypt.
  3. The Marseille Tarot is the embodiment of Tarot cards containing echoes of Italy, which, according to historians, were compiled by an Italian philosopher of the 15th century.
  4. The Rider-Waite Tarot is one of the most popular and widespread decks, created in the 20th century by the famous historian and scientist Arthur Edward Waite.

It is difficult to say which Tarot cards are better. For each practitioner, the ideal deck will be his own, sharpened by the Force; each chooses his own Tarot deck.

Rider-Waite Tarot

Professional magicians and fortune tellers know that such cards have special power. And not every deck can work correctly. If a beginner does not know how to choose Tarot cards for himself, it is not necessary to try all options of Tarot cards. For a beginner practitioner, the best choice of material would be a Rider-White deck. It is the layouts with such a deck that will make it possible to use two main types of fortune-telling: Layouts for the Search for the Correct Answer and Full Fortune-telling (in some sources this method of casting fortune-telling is called Open Fortune-telling).

Different types of decks work in their own way and it’s difficult to say which ones will be yours; you need to rely on your feelings and your attitude towards a particular deck.

There are such sets that, well, do not want to obey their owner in any way. Don't force the deck, just choose another one.

Tarot classification

The deck of cards was divided into two classes: the major arcana and the minor arcana. The contents of the deck are correctly called:

A deck of Tarot cards is divided into the major and minor arcana.

  1. Major Arcana - they are also called trump cards, they include twenty-two Amrakhs (cards, images), which contain their own plot, the order of Amrakhs in different decks may differ, usually they contain a clear life path of a person.
  2. The minor arcana are similar to playing cards, in which there are four suits, 56 Amrah, 14 of each suit. The minor arcana suits are Wands, Swords, Cups and Denarii. In each suit there is an Ace, Amrachi numbers from two to ten and Amrachi figures: Page, Knight, Queen and King. With the help of the minor arcana you can find out the development of a certain event.

Differences between Tarot Cards

Although there are many different decks of Tarot Cards, including various graphic designs (Archetypes), it is certain that the very meaning and significance of Amrach does not change. They will also predict the future for you; with the help of the layouts, you will be able to engage in self-knowledge, achieve harmony, understand the essence of man and the meaning of life.

Each person chooses his own deck, the criteria for this choice may be his own intuition, an inner call, or simply “because I want it so.” There are people who, before starting to use a certain deck, study it thoroughly and already decide whether it is suitable for them or not.

Classic Tarots contain simple Amrahs, they were mainly created in the Middle Ages and were used in monasteries and in the courts of wealthy nobility. The Visconti Tarot is one of these decks.

But there are also universal decks that, regardless of their time, are currently the most used. The Rider White Tarot is one of these decks.

There are also author’s decks, they are created by individuals, for a narrow circle of use, they make their own Archetypes, promote their system of interpretation of the Amrahs, as they please based on their personal experience and knowledge.

How can you use Tarot Cards?

It is clear to everyone that with the help of Tarot you can make various kinds of predictions and forecast the development of a specific event. But do we need to know what will happen in the future? Without a doubt, it’s wonderful when you find out that in the near future you will hit the jackpot at the casino or find your soulmate, whom you have been looking for all your life, but life does not always present us with only good events.

Tarot cards are often used to predict the future

After all, there is a chance that the prediction will not be very happy for you. And what to do next? Waiting for a difficult end and sobbing into your pillow? Naturally not, Tarot Cards can help you with this, ask them what to do and they will tell you, this is the huge advantage of the cards. But it’s up to you to take this advice, and further events depend only on you, because it is you who forge your destiny.

What is a Full Tarot Spread?

A full Tarot layout allows the fortune teller to predict not the client’s special future, but everything that fate has in store for him. In principle, speaking about Tarot, here an open, that is, a full-fledged layout is used as an option for predicting future fate, that is, it gives an answer to the question of what will happen. When throwing cards at Fate, the fortune teller does not see pictures from the future client, she sees the possible consequences of certain decisions. That is, there is no need to say that fortune telling is quackery if what was predicted did not come true. This is a consequence of your actions and decisions.

The situation with “what was and what is” is a little more complicated. And the point here is not the professionalism or incompetence of the person who laid out the cards for you. And the fact is that the past is like a mirror ball, your past is somehow connected with people you don’t even know about, and the cards will show the trace that you left in the destinies of other people. If you go to a fortune teller with a question about what is happening now in your destiny, then this also has its own difficulties.

After all, sometimes your fate, even at this moment, its course directly depends on the situations at that moment and on the decisions of other people. So, a lonely woman asks for a cast on Amrahi, on love, and the fortune teller sees that in her destiny there is a man for whom she is dear. And the client thinks to herself: “Oh no, there’s no such thing.” But in fact, the cards show her a lover, whose neighbor she does not take seriously, because for some reason he is in the category of unworthy. But the card fortune teller sees that such a person exists in this person’s life, and says what the cards show her.

A full-fledged or detailed fortune-telling, as I have already said, concerns all areas of the client’s life, but sometimes such a scenario does not say at all what you would like to hear, and therefore you should not immediately betray everything you hear to skepticism, but you just need to listen carefully and analyze.

What is Tarot layout for Searching for an Answer from Fate

This type of Tarot fortune telling is much easier to work with, but it is also much more limited in finding an answer. By throwing a layout at the cards, the fortune teller can only give an answer to a specific question regarding a specific area of a person’s life.

There is also a special rule regarding such layouts: You need to ask questions in a positive way. That is, you cannot ask: “Why doesn’t this man love me?” It’s better to ask this way: “What awaits us in the future with this man?”

A variety of Tarot card displays

In principle, there are a lot of different types of laying out such cards; each professional has his own methods of asking cards to open the future. But among ordinary people and beginners, two layouts are especially popular: Crescent and Celtic Cross.

The Celtic Cross is most often used if you need to give an answer to extensive fortune telling, that is, if you throw cards at all areas of the future at once. For more accurate fortune telling, it is customary to use the Crescent Moon. It is this type of card display that is most suitable for fortune-telling to find an answer.

Preparing the one who tells fortunes

Working with tarot cards largely depends not only on the cards themselves, but also on the energy forces of the person working with them. Not every fortune teller, picking up the Tarot, will be able to see what they are trying to say. Not only practice is important here, but also special energy preparation for the fortune teller.

Before working with Tarot cards, you need to concentrate

It is very important to be able to tune in to the energy flows that go directly from the client to the fortune teller herself. How exactly the alignment will be interpreted will directly depend on this.

If a fortune teller does not know how to tune in correctly and cannot focus on her inner feelings, she will never give the correct and intelligible answer.

When I learned to work with Tarot cards, at first I tried to subordinate their behavior to myself. But at that time, I did not yet know that in this process the fortuneteller was not the main character. If we bring the concept to a simple explanation, then the fortune teller itself is simply a tool for transmitting information, like a pen or pencil. Fate dictates the rules of the game and tells fate, reflecting it in cards, and a fortune teller is simply a way to convey the necessary information.

When I realized this, the first thing I began to learn was complete relaxation and concentration. And in the moments when I was already able to fully surrender myself to the power of the energy of the future, I felt like something extraneous, that is, not me, but a special force was moving the cards, preparing them in the deck for the subsequent correct arrangement. It is very important not only to be able to tune in to the cards themselves, but it is also important to be able to rely on Fate itself. The highest degree of preparation is achieved when the fortuneteller knows how to become a strong connection between what fate says and shows and who exactly came for the alignment of the Future.

But the possibilities of mystical cards do not end there. Tarot cards will help you get to know yourself much more, find your place in this world and show your path, know your self, and unlock your potential. The cards will reveal to you all your inner demons, fears, phobias, and explain your difficult character, which even you do not understand.

Tarot cards give a person the opportunity not only to look under the veil of the future, past and present, but also to know himself, the highest degree of harmony, the universe, understanding of the person himself and his single path along which to move.

All Tarot decks can be divided into light and dark. Light decks are suitable for absolutely everyone; it is better for a beginner to start working with such decks. By the way, most fortune tellers use light Tarot decks.

LIGHT DECKS

Rider-Waite deck. Undoubtedly, this is a universal deck in its application, it is suitable for work by non-professionals and beginners, and is easy to use. This deck was created by Arthur Edward Waite and Pamela Colman Smith.

Etteila Tarot deck. The deck was created back in the 18th century by Etteil, a famous occultist. The creator of these cards was engaged in various magical rituals for many years and performed various card fortune-telling.
